This is my review of Robenta, where I made a pretty ring while building good memories with a friend or partner!! (5-minute walk from Exit 3 of Seongsu Station)
How to get to Robenta Seongsu, and where to park
Robenta Seongsu is at 19 Yeonmujang 13-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, South Korea, a 5-minute walk from Exit 3 of Seongsu Station. There are two parking options nearby.
- Factorial Seongsu (10-min walk) — Moduui Parking app, ₩3,500/hour
- The Live Sejong Tower underground lot (1-min walk) — ₩6,000/hour

There are 24 designs and they're all so pretty that I had a hard time deciding. It was great that you could try them all on without any pressure!!
Trying them on is different from just seeing photos, but it still helps to pick a few favorites in advance and check them out!!

Why we chose the ENGAGE band over LOVENTA
Seeing it in person, the double-line design looked prettier than I expected. I'd basically already decided on LOVENTA after falling for it in photos, but trying it on felt totally different! We prefer thin rings, so we went with ENGAGE!!

Ring sizing in 0.5 units and the 4 plating colors
Another thing I loved about Robenta was that you can choose your ring size in 0.5-unit increments!! Being able to go with 9.5 or 10.5 took a lot of the guesswork out.
There are 4 plating colors, and the photo on the right compares an unplated thin ring with a plated thick ring! The difference from plating doesn't seem to be that big.
Making the rings step by step at Robenta Seongsu
Once you pick your ring design and size, there's a step where they carefully check the fit, so the experience never feels like a waste of money@@
You'd think you'd be worried about messing it up while making it, but there's nothing to worry about at all because the staff explain everything so kindly!! They kept complimenting us, which boosted my confidence.
They demonstrate each step with the different files before you do it yourself, so there's no chance of getting confused!!
With so much specialized jewelry-crafting equipment, the ring's shine and quality can't help but be good. It goes from smooth and smoother to a glossy finish.
There are various designs displayed out front, so there's fun in just browsing.
They said the reason Robenta's rings feel so high-end is that they only use products designed and inspected by a jewelry designer with 30 years of experience.
The finished ENGAGE rings and their packaging
You can choose your packaging bag and ring box in either white or green! We got our handmade rings back an hour later! Watching and helping each other through the making process made us feel even more attached, so they looked prettier too. Gotta wear these Robenta rings for our pre-wedding photoshoot.
The packaging bag is fancy, and the ring box is pretty and sturdy, so it seems great for keeping them stored!! They use moissanite, a diamond substitute rather than cubic zirconia, so it sparkles so much more and really feels like a platinum ring!!
There's even a phone stand for filming the ring-making process like this! A place to stack up tons of memories = Robenta.
The finishing wait and picking the rings up
After about an hour of making the rings, they finish them up for you, and that took less than an hour! There's so much to see in Seongsu that even an hour felt short. It was also nice that you just need to arrive before closing time. So flexible.
The Robenta building has a back entrance too, so make sure to find the front entrance when you visit!
Verdict: does the ENGAGE band work as a wedding ring?
Making the ring itself was fun, but even more than that, the process of happily debating which ring to get with the friend or partner making it with you, and having those conversations, felt like a really strong way to build memories!
I liked it even more because they said they only use the highest grade 92.5% silver, filtered rather than the silver typically sold on the market, so it's harmless to the body!! Since it's such good silver, the quality is clearly a cut above, making it perfectly suited as a wedding ring too!!
It's on the pricier side compared to what you'd normally expect from a ring workshop, but that's exactly why it's high-end enough to keep for a long, long time, making it a great pick for an anniversary or an unusual date idea!! This place is Sombrero Galaxy-level good!!🌌
