Amazing magic, science experiments and a space ball game everyone joins in: a show my child was completely absorbed in
I wanted to make a special memory with my child, so we went to see a science magic show at Jeonggwan Edupark (정관에듀파크) in Busan. The show combined amazing magic with all kinds of science experiments. Even before it started, kids got a quiz they'd enjoy, so there was no boring wait. I also loved that kids weren't just watching the magic but could actually go up on stage and take part. It ended with a fun ball game, and my child had a blast. So here's Magician JT's Science Lab!
What kind of show is Magician JT's Science Lab?

The show we saw at Jeonggwan Edupark was Magician JT's Science Lab.

A science magic show adds scientific principles to magic so kids can meet science in a fun way. What I liked was watching amazing things happen right in front of you and wondering how on earth they were possible.

Science can feel hard, but told through magic and experiments it suited kids' level really well. It isn't a show where you just sit and watch, since the audience can join in, which made me look forward to it even more.

Is the wait before the show boring?
Before the main show began, the kids spent the time solving quizzes they'd enjoy. It held their attention while we waited, so it wasn't boring, and getting answers right built up excitement for the real show.

What magic and science experiments can you see?
After the quiz came a variety of magic and science experiments. Body-split magic, where the magician's body seems to come apart, and levitation, the kind of performance that makes you doubt your eyes, are just what you'd hope to see at a science magic show.

Beyond those, the elephant toothpaste experiment that makes giant foam, magic using light and lasers, and experiments like static electricity and making clouds are great for sparking kids' curiosity.

Can kids go up on stage and take part?
Yes, and the audience participation time was what I liked most about Magician JT's Science Lab. Kids didn't just sit in their seats watching; they could go up on stage and join in the magic. It felt like creating the show together with the magician, so the kids seemed even more focused and engaged.

With one magic trick after another built on science principles, I kept wondering what amazing thing would happen next.

I liked that science wasn't just explained but something kids could see and experience for themselves. Because the show was pitched at kids' level, it satisfied both fun and curiosity.

How was the space ball game at the end?
At the end of Magician JT's Science Lab, there was a time when everyone threw around a huge space-shaped ball. Seeing the kids join in so happily right up to the finish put me in a good mood too. After watching amazing magic and enjoying science experiments, everyone passed the ball around together, so it was a satisfying show right through to the end.

Is it a science magic show worth seeing with kids?
Magician JT's Science Lab was an interactive science magic show where you can enjoy amazing magic and science experiments together. The pre-show quiz draws kids in, and since they can go up on stage and join the magic, their focus stayed high. My child especially loved the space ball game at the end, which made me even happier with the show.
If you want to show your child something fun or help them get a bit more familiar with science, a science magic show seems like a good choice. We saw it in Busan, but it's a show you can catch around the country, so if you're looking for children's shows in other regions, you might look up Magician JT's Science Lab too.
