Lately I've been sitting more and more, and my body has been sending out "SOS" signals all over the place, so I figured I needed proper exercise. That's why I went to try Pilates, which is great for posture correction and body analysis.
While looking for Pilates near Eungam-dong, Statefit caught my eye: it offers custom 1:1 programs using AI movement analysis and AI body analysis. Finding out exactly what state my body is in first, and then exercising with a routine made for my body type, sounded amazing and really appealing. So I tried 2 sessions of 1:1 Pilates, and today I'm leaving a detailed review for anyone who, like me, is worrying about posture correction or an exercise routine!

First impressions of the Statefit Eungam Pilates studio
The Statefit Eungam studio was a clean space with minimalist white and wood-tone interiors, and it even has a changing room. When you arrive, you first fill out a consultation questionnaire to share your current physical condition with the trainer.

The moment I arrived, the tidy interior and bright atmosphere stood out. The space, done in white and wood tones, felt minimalist yet cozy, with nothing superfluous. There's a changing room to use before and after your workout, and seeing how well-kept everything was gave me a sense of trust.

The trainers greeted me warmly and cheerfully from the start, and they made it easy to settle in, as if I'd been going there for ages. Above all, the AI equipment and the various Pilates machines were neatly arranged, which gave a strong impression of a professional studio. As soon as I arrived I filled out the consultation questionnaire to share my current situation.
What does Statefit's AI body analysis show about pelvic imbalance?
Statefit's AI body analysis and AI movement analysis showed everything in detail, down to foot arches, pelvis position and spine alignment. Through this analysis, the writer found out that their pelvis sits at different heights left and right and that their gait is slightly uneven.

Before class, I had a short consultation with the trainer, who asked carefully about my exercise goals and everyday discomforts. Then we did a detailed scan with the body analyzer, and the AI body analysis and AI movement analysis were especially fascinating. It didn't just show what's visible on the outside; it told me in detail about my foot arches, pelvis position and spine alignment. The results showed that my pelvis is at different heights on the left and right, and that my gait is slightly unbalanced.
On top of that, the trainer also recommended which areas are weaker and which parts I should focus on, so my direction suddenly felt clear. Even the little posture habits I'd always brushed off made me feel like I'd discovered my body's "hidden truth."
How does a 1:1 Pilates class at Statefit work?
At Statefit, the instructor starts a 1:1 Pilates class by explaining that day's routine based on the analysis results. The first class focused mainly on pelvic stabilization and gluteus medius strengthening.

Before the actual class, the instructor explained that day's routine based on my analysis results. In the first class we concentrated on movements aimed at pelvic stabilization, and right from the start the instructor corrected every tiny movement carefully.

We focused on the gluteus medius in particular, practicing lots of movements for strengthening the glutes and correcting hip balance. I loved that the instructor kept giving feedback as I followed along, telling me which muscles my body type needs to use more and how to make up for the weak spots. Above all, being 1:1 meant I got focused teaching with nothing missed, which was a big advantage. Appropriate stretches in between loosened up my muscles, so I could go through the session steadily without worrying about injury.
Statefit Eungam facilities and after-class feedback
Statefit Eungam has clean changing rooms and showers, and the mats and tools were neatly prepared. After class, the trainer writes up that day's exercise record and the points to work on.

The class space and the facilities in general were well organized, so the exercise environment was pleasant. The extra spaces like the changing room and showers were really clean and easy to use. The mats and tools for use during the workout were neatly prepared too, so I had no reluctance at all about using shared equipment. After class, the trainer separately wrote up that day's exercise record and what I needed to improve, and it felt incredibly systematic.
After 2 Pilates sessions at Statefit: would I go back?
After 2 sessions of 1:1 Pilates at Statefit, the writer noticed changes in their body and got interested in exercising, and says they'd return "200%." They named discovering unknown problems in their body through the AI body analysis as the biggest plus.

Over the 2 sessions at Statefit, I felt changes in my body and definitely got more interested in exercising. Thanks to the AI body analysis in particular, I could find problems in my body I didn't even know about, and the detailed, focused guidance on every movement left me really satisfied.
