24-hour hangover soup with sundubu yukgaejang set in Wonju
Yukdaejang Dangye Musil-jeom is a 24-hour yukgaejang (spicy beef and vegetable soup) restaurant on Roanoke-ro in Wonju, Gangwon. On the last day of a Gangwon trip, the writer stopped in for a set of sundubu yukgaejang (11,000 won), yukkal-myeon (12,000 won) and a full plate of hanbang bossam (16,000 won), with a beef-bone broth loaded with green onion that was spicy-sharp and refreshing. With wide self-parking on floors 1 and 2 and round-the-clock hours, it works for both lunch and a pre-dawn hangover fix.
