Ilwon-dong tonkatsu lunch of 72-hour aged sirloin katsu: Sioldon

Sioldon Ilwon Branch is an aged Korean pork tonkatsu restaurant in Ilwon-dong, Gangnam, Seoul, near Samsung Seoul Hospital. For lunch at Sioldon, the sirloin katsu set (12,900 won) came with mini cold soba (3,000 won) and kimchi nabe (13,900 won): the 72-hour cross-aged sirloin katsu was tender and mild, while the icy cold soba cut the richness. It is a good combination for tasting crisp tonkatsu and broth-soaked tonkatsu side by side in one meal.
