The writer phoned ahead to book an ocean-view window seat, then ordered the Hwarou Set A, which brings skirt steak, snowflake galbi (marbled rib finger) and ribeye cap on one platter, along with doenjang-jjigae (soybean paste stew) and makguksu (cold buckwheat noodles). For beef with a sea view at a reasonable price, a window seat at Hwarou Dadaepo is worth reserving.

Yetnal Tongdak & Tang Seomyeon Branch is a pocha-style pub near Manchwi-gil in Seomyeon, Busan, specializing in dakdoritang (spicy braised chicken stew) and fried chicken. On a chilly evening, the blogger and her husband ordered the dakdoritang set: a spicy, peppery broth with rice cakes, glass noodles and quail eggs, plus boneless fried chicken on the side. Busan Station pork cutlet ordered by table QR: Dal and Sixpence

Gyeongyangsik Dal and Sixpence Main Branch is an old-school Western-style pork cutlet restaurant on Jungang-daero 226beon-gil, near Busan Station in Dong-gu, Busan. After seeing the shark mascot Bukangi at Bukhang Waterfront Park, I used the table QR code to order a double pork cutlet, a spicy sweet potato cheese pork cutlet and a drink, and the meal arrived with pre-meal soup and rice spread across a wide plate. Dal and Sixpence works well as a stop right after Bukhang and is easy for solo diners.
