Pasta lunch at Suwon Station with AK Plaza parking tip: Rolling Pasta

In short

Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch is a budget pasta and Western-style restaurant on the 2nd floor across from Exit 12 of Suwon Station. For lunch, the writer ordered a green grape ade, a ₩7,000 ricotta cheese salad, aglio e olio and a tortilla-dough margherita pizza; the aglio e olio was moist with plenty of sauce, and the pizza was crisp. Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch is an easy pick for anything from a solo meal to a family dinner, with plenty of dishes to choose from.

I stopped by Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch (롤링파스타 수원역점) while out near Suwon Station — a pasta place with reasonable prices and good flavor :-) I picked Western food for lunch for the first time in a while, and even on a repeat visit it's the best value around. It's known as a delivery favorite too, so I had no doubts 😉

Inside Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch: is it OK to eat alone?

The restaurant is spacious and pleasant, fine for groups, and there were plenty of solo diners too. There are lots of tables and they're spaced widely. Solo diners are welcome 😊

Western food can feel pricey or like something for special days, but Rolling Pasta is a place where you can relax a little 😉 The menu is really varied — pasta, pizza, steak, pilaf and more — and toppings can be added as options, so choosing to your taste is a lot of fun. Every time I come, the biggest plus is that it's no pressure to have one dish each — or even two 😂

Lunch dishes ordered at Rolling Pasta and green grape ade

Lunch order: green grape ade, ricotta cheese salad, aglio e olio, margherita

This day at Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch I ordered a green grape ade, ricotta cheese salad, aglio e olio and a margherita pizza. After a while the dishes came out one by one. A fizzy drink is a must with Western food, and an ade beats a regular drink — that's perfection.

The ricotta cheese salad is ₩7,000 and, in proper order, came out first. Crisp lettuce and assorted vegetables with one big lump of cheese in the middle 🧀

A salad sprinkled with grated cheese for ₩7,000 — enough said. At that price you could order two plates, so great value 👍

Rolling Pasta aglio e olio oil pasta

Aglio e olio: a moist oil pasta with plenty of sauce

The aglio e olio at Rolling Pasta had a subtle, nutty garlic aroma and wasn't greasy at all. After the salad came the pasta and pizza, and as someone who loves oil pasta, aglio e olio is a must for me 😉

Moist aglio e olio with plenty of sauce

Some places lack oiliness and even feel dry, but at Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch it was generously sauced and moist, so I kept reaching for more.

Tortilla-dough margherita pizza

Tortilla-dough margherita pizza, rolled up to eat

The margherita at Rolling Pasta has a tortilla dough, so it's crispier, and it was a moderately sized pizza. The tomato sauce, cheese and basil pesto blended well and suited my taste.

Since it's a tortilla dough and not a big pizza, I rolled it up to eat and it was super convenient haha. It went really well with the salad and pickles.

Who should go to Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch?

The big plus is being able to choose from many kinds without pressure 👍 I recommend it because you can enjoy it at a relatively reasonable price. Good food is for sharing ♥️
