Bucheon pizzeria for a ₩26,900 half pizza set with fries: Cheesewave

I visited Cheesewave, a newly opened Bucheon pizza spot by City Hall Station~~ My partner and I both love pizza and eat it regularly, so how could we not try a brand-new place near our home, right?! Let's get straight to my review of the set menu I picked, okay?! ><

Cheesewave Bucheon City Hall: location, hours and parking

Cheesewave Bucheon City Hall is at 16 Seokcheon-ro 184beon-gil, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon, Gyeonggi, South Korea. Hours are Sun–Mon 11:00–23:00 (last order 22:30) and Tue–Sat 11:00–01:00 (last order 00:30). Parking is not available.

Cheesewave Bucheon City Hall sits in the food alley by City Hall Station. The eye-catching red look made it easy to spot from far away, haha.

The weather is perfect for outdoor seating right now, you know?!!! Sitting outside on an evening with a cool breeze, ordering a Cheesewave set and having it with a beer would be heaven!

What's the inside of Cheesewave Bucheon City Hall like?

In lots of reviews I'd read that the inside feels exotic and hip, and sure enough, it's clean and clutter-free, just as people said~ And it's totally today's style, right?!!

The place is bigger and roomier than I expected, so it seems great for coming with family or friends.

There's a standing sign at the entrance, so you can decide what to order before going in, which I liked. I scanned the menu quickly and settled on the set with good reviews. Done!

What's at the self-bar?

After ordering at Cheesewave Bucheon City Hall, you go to the self-bar and grab tableware, pickles, tissues and so on.

Pizza is obviously a eat-with-your-hands thing, so I love that the self-bar even has plastic gloves~~ Great touch from the owner 👏🏻👏🏻

Wave Set 2 half-and-half pizza: how are the toppings?

We grabbed what we needed, waited, and out came the delicious half-and-half pizza set~~~ 🍕

We ordered Wave Set 2 with two flavors, bacon potato / sun-dried shrimp, and the amount of toppings is insane;;; The moment we saw it, my partner and I couldn't help exclaiming, haha.

With so many toppings, a single slice felt heavy when I picked it up (whoa).

Bacon potato pizza

Even my partner, whose number-one pick is potato, said they loved the bacon potato pizza from the looks alone,, and the taste? Need I say more, it was amazing~~~~~

I also liked that Cheesewave has a variety of sauces to go with the pizza, including honey garlic. Chili splash, Parmesan splash, hot sauce splash!

Sun-dried shrimp pizza

The sun-dried shrimp has no shortage of toppings either, right??!! Look at the size of the shrimp;;; There were so many toppings and the pizza was so big that it was hard to hold in one hand, so I ate it holding it up with both hands, haha.

They also put pepperoni on the sun-dried shrimp, not just shrimp, and I think that mild-plus-salty combo made it even tastier. Whether single or in a set, I highly recommend the sun-dried shrimp~! It's a best seller for a reason ><

The fries that came with the set

The French fries that came with Wave Set 2 were fried crispy with no saltiness at all.

They were as tasty as the main dishes, so I think I kept grabbing three or four at a time...? hehe

Would I go back to Cheesewave Bucheon City Hall?
