Gwangjin self-photo studio maternity shoot with baby tuxedo props: U&E

U&E Studio Seongsu is a self-photo studio on Gwangnaru-ro in Gwangjin, Seoul, near Children's Grand Park Station, where you take your own photos with a Bluetooth remote in a 4M horizon studio. The writer did a maternity shoot with the early-bird package (99,000 won for 3 people, 60 minutes), using free dress and suit rentals plus props such as a trendy hat, horse dolls, and baby dresses and tuxedos. The originals from U&E Studio Seongsu arrived by email the same day and came out better than expected, so the writer was very satisfied.

Ramen lunch in Gwangjin, Seoul: samgyetang-like tori paitan, Mentsuru

Mentsuru Children's Grand Park Branch is a Japanese ramen shop near Children's Grand Park Station in Gwangjin, Seoul. On a weekday at 1 p.m., the writer ordered shoyu ramen (11,000 won), tori paitan (13,500 won) and handmade chicken karaage (7,000 won); the food arrived 5 minutes after ordering at the kiosk. The clean shoyu ramen, the savory tori paitan that tastes like samgyetang (Korean ginseng chicken soup) and the better-than-expected drumstick karaage stood out. With no break time and bar seating, Mentsuru Children's Grand Park Branch is a ramen shop worth recommending for a solo lunch.

Konkuk ice cream shop as good as its Busan pop-up: Beurre Beurre

Beurre Beurre Konkuk University Rodeo Branch is a French-butter ice cream shop near Konkuk Univ. Station in Gwangjin, Seoul. After first tasting Beurre Beurre at a department store pop-up in Busan, the writer went to the Konkuk University Rodeo Branch for a double cone (Nutty Peanut Butter and Choco Deep Fudge) and a double cup (Mellow Mango and Cheese-lo-berry), each 6,500 won. The thick, rich, not-too-sweet Beurre Beurre flavor was just as good as at the pop-up, and if you want a cone, the waffle cone with its drip holder is the one to get.
