At a two-person counter seat, the writer had fresh lamb ribs (33,000 won), French rack (37,000 won), soup curry sold in a limited daily quantity (32,000 won) and lemon rice (2,000 won), then finished with koshomen cold noodles from the review event. A family of four ordered the medium mixed sashimi platter (150,000 won) and ate it as a course: sides such as scallop sashimi, sea squirt and abalone sashimi, freshly grilled flatfish, a platter of olive flounder, greenling (dolsamchi), filefish and rockfish, and spicy fish stew, all of it fresh. Unusually for a tourist-area sashimi restaurant, Bongpo Hoega kept both its seafood and its dining room clean, making it a satisfying family meal.

On a Boknal evening (a midsummer day when Koreans eat stamina food), the blogger waited about 20 minutes after 7 pm, then ate dak hanmari at 15,000 won per person, cheese potato pancake and chicken skewers, plus review-event chicken feet and free congee, and finished almost everything. Ttukdak Hongdae is worth recommending when you want a restorative meal or want to introduce Korean food to foreign friends.
