While you wait at VOG HAIR Changwon City Seven Branch, you fill in a short questionnaire?, to get a sense of your image. You just tick boxes. Once you're done, your assigned stylist comes out and consults with you on the style.

Since I only straighten part of my hair, I decided to go ahead as planned, and to trim a little of the damaged length. I also chose basic nutrition. ₩240,000 in total! Because only the top was straightened there was no extra charge, and the trim is included with the magic straightening. We talked with the treatment price list in front of us, so there was no pushiness, and it was easy to read at a glance.

They do a scalp diagnosis too

Another special thing about VOG HAIR Changwon City Seven Branch is the scalp diagnosis. You rarely get the chance to have one, so it was fascinating.

There's a U-zone and a T-zone, and I think she said the T-zone is where hair loss tends to happen. I feel like mine is progressing a bit, but not badly, so I decided to try switching my shampoo haha

The magic straightening process: from pearl clinic to neutralizing

I started with the pearl clinic. It's a clinic that replenishes moisture and protein. It sounds good just hearing it haha My hair felt silky afterward, and I thought the ₩20,000 clinic was good value.

Applying the straightening product and heat treatment

Next, the vice director and a staff member apply the straightening product. Their hands are fast, so it went quickly. They also kept checking whether I was uncomfortable, so I felt it's a really attentive place.

Then the heat treatment. I liked that it wasn't hot.

She dries my hair fast and pulls it straight?, and it felt like she pulls it so easily? They say if someone's work looks easy, they're a real expert, and that's exactly it.

Neutralizing the top only, 7 minutes of waiting

Since it's not a full-head straightening, the neutralizer went on only at the top. During the 7-minute wait I felt so drowsy that I dozed off for a bit haha The eye cover service is really nice.

The aroma ritual, only at the City Seven branch

Another service is the aroma ritual, which I was told only the City Seven branch of VOG HAIR has. You pick one of three scents and get an aroma massage. It really feels like being treated like a guest!

The result: a 4-hour straightening done in 2.5 hours

Ta-da~ The vice director said it straightened well too! Magic straightening normally takes 4 hours, and she finished in a quick 2.5 hours. Did I dislike the result because of that? Not at all. She's really attentive and fast. When straightening takes long my butt hurts so much, so yay!! Can't you really see the difference??
