Busan The Nine Skin52 is a semi-permanent eyebrow studio near Hadan Station in Saha, Busan, doing embo, combo, and micro-shading brows. My husband's brows had noticeably sparse patches, and I wanted to get him embo natural brows to give him a much cleaner look, so I spent days searching hard for a place that really knows what they're doing.

The director at Busan The Nine Skin52 has an insanely impressive career and credentials, draws clients from all over the country, and has trained and mentored countless other directors — which made me trust her even more!! haha Reviews were amazing too, and since I couldn't just hand my husband's brows to anywhere, I went with the place everyone says is really good :) 💙

And sure enough, the result was extremely satisfying, T_T. His whole look changed, and my husband himself kept saying how good it was, how natural it looked, and he loved it haha.

Busan The Nine Skin52 is 25m from Exit 8 of Hadan Station. It's closed every Sunday, and open Mon/Sat 10:00-20:00, Tue/Thu 11:00-21:00, Wed/Fri 11:00-19:00. Pets are welcome too.

Why we visited and the shop atmosphere

Busan The Nine Skin52 is famous in Busan for doing great natural brows!! 💙 I'd seen it on Instagram before too — her before-and-afters are so dramatic yet natural that I'd been eyeing the place and telling myself I had to visit sometime, haha. This time I went to get my husband's brows done, and the location was great and parking was easy too :)

Busan The Nine Skin52 operates together with Lightbit Medi Skin lash studio, so once you go further inside there's a separate space for brow procedures :) The interior was really sleek, clean, and pretty, which I liked, haha.

The director's list of awards and credentials was also incredible haha. She's trained and graduated countless other directors and has served consistently as a judge and organizing committee member for various beauty competitions, which made the whole place feel even more trustworthy :)

How does the consultation go?

The director at Busan The Nine Skin52 first looked at my husband's brows and recommended what kind of brow would suit him best, explaining in real detail exactly what technique would be used...! haha This was probably the first place I'd seen that was this thorough, detailed, and kind from the consultation stage on.

For the pigment used during the brow procedure, she uses IX pigment, which passed heavy metal safety testing and causes no allergic reactions, so I trusted her even more! Since this was my husband's brows I was entrusting to someone, I was extra picky, but the thorough consultation — from the pigment explanation to aftercare instructions and technique — won me over right away 👍

Numbing cream and wait time

Before the procedure, numbing cream was applied to his brows and we waited about 20-30 minutes, haha. There was a separate waiting area even after the numbing cream was applied, so it was comfortable to chat and wait together 💙 She applied the numbing cream carefully and covered it with wrap too :)

My husband had gotten embo brows once about 4 years ago, and lightly touched up just the front of his brows with natural brows a year ago — both experiences were disappointing, so this time I really wanted to take him somewhere that actually knows what they're doing, haha. Since Busan The Nine Skin52 is so famous and well-reviewed, I could relax and trust the process this time ☺️

Another plus of Busan The Nine Skin52 was that the brow procedure happens in a private space, and hygiene — which really matters — was clearly well managed, as you can see, which was satisfying 💙

Why embo brows for a man with dry skin?

The director at Busan The Nine Skin52 explained that embo brows work best for people like my husband — dry skin with a decent amount of existing brow hair. As you can see, my husband's brows had a fair amount of hair but with sparse gaps, so we wanted something a bit fuller but still with a natural hair-stroke texture. So we decided to go with embo brows that looked like natural brows 💙

A design sketch that even corrected asymmetry

Before going in for the embo natural brows, she was incredibly thorough with the brow design first :) My husband's brows are asymmetrical, and she corrected that perfectly while also considering the muscles he uses most often, sketching out the brow shape that would best suit his bone structure, haha!!!!

She drew and showed us two different designs, then carefully worked through confirming which one he preferred, which let us land on the best possible brows for him :) Since she had a design she recommended based on his bone structure and face, we just trusted her and went straight with her recommended design, haha.

She also explained really well why the brow design had to go a certain way and how it was matched to his bone structure, so it all made complete sense :) Watching her work stitch by stitch with such care made me think coming to Busan The Nine Skin52 was really the right call 💙

Embo natural brow procedure time and pain

My husband's natural brow procedure at Busan The Nine Skin52 took about an hour, and at the end she did finishing work to help the pigment and color settle in more naturally :) When I asked him during the procedure, he said it didn't hurt at all and was actually really comfortable, haha.

I had so many questions along the way and asked a lot, and she kindly explained everything, which I really appreciated! She's clearly someone who's truly passionate about brows — the kind of place you'd want to bring your own family to, haha 💙

Right after the embo brow procedure

Right after my husband's embo brow procedure at Busan The Nine Skin52!!!! haha 💙 Seriously amazing, it turned out so natural and pretty that I was so satisfied :) You really have to look closely to even tell it's done — from any distance it just looks like his own real brows??? !! haha

Once it was done, his whole look became sharper and cleaner, and the brow thickness and natural hair-stroke texture were exactly what I wanted, 💙 My husband loved it too, so I felt proud on his behalf, haha. Even after we got home he kept staring in the mirror and saying, 'Wow, they're really good at brows here~~~' while still checking the mirror lol. The texture came out really soft and natural-looking, just like my real brows, and I was so happy with it!!! 💙💙

Aftercare and the change after peeling

On the way home, Busan The Nine Skin52 gave another detailed explanation of aftercare, and sent us home with a week's worth of brow cream and a brow trimming razor, haha :) My husband diligently applied the cream himself for a week 💙 Now that the peeling is done, his brows look even more natural and soft than right after the procedure, haha.

Friends have randomly asked what he did to his face, and even my parents complimented how much better his brows look now lol. I guess places this famous and well-reviewed really do have a reason for it.

Overall thoughts on Busan The Nine Skin52

Busan The Nine Skin52 gave a really detailed, thorough explanation starting from the consultation, and showing multiple brow design sketches to simulate really helped with choosing the right brows. I especially loved that she used a safe pigment with no allergic reactions, so there was no worry about side effects after the procedure 💙

The result was, as you can see, extremely satisfying!! haha Seeing my husband more confident about his looks these days, I've decided I'm definitely going back to Busan The Nine Skin52 for brows from now on!!!
