Daegu hair salon men's side-part perm, down perm and cut: 26do Hair

I was looking for a hair salon in Suseong-gu, Daegu that does a good men's perm, and I ended up at 26do Hair Suseong Branch (26도헤어 수성점)!

Where is 26do Hair Suseong, and where do you park?

26do Hair Suseong is on the 2nd floor of the Suseong Lotte Castle apartment shopping arcade on Suseong-ro 69-gil, Suseong-gu, Daegu. It's open 10:00 - 20:00, and both parking and booking are available.

Since it's in the Suseong Lotte Castle arcade, I used the arcade's parking lot. The lot is outdoors, so just park and head up to the 2nd floor!

How do booking and the consultation chart work?

At 26do Hair Suseong, you book ahead on Naver, and when you arrive you start by filling in a consultation chart. You can pick the hair, color and design you want, and your designer will also give recommendations, so it feels easy to just walk in :)

There are lockers just inside the shop, so I could store my important belongings too!

26do Hair Suseong is popular even among Suseong-gu salons, so you should book before visiting! Customers kept coming the whole time I was there.

Waiting area and interior atmosphere

The waiting area at 26do Hair Suseong is spacious and tidy, so waiting was comfortable! They also prepare drinks for you :)

The interior was very clean too. They tidy up right after each service, so even the next appointment gets a clean space for hair care. Every spot was kept spotless, which made me trust the salon even more.

Why I got a men's side-part perm, down perm and cut all at once

I'd only been getting cuts for a while, and this time I visited 26do Hair Suseong for a side-part perm after ages! My hair had also grown very long, so I did the side-part perm, down perm and cut all in one go.

My hair was really dry and lackluster, and very long, so I booked 26do Hair Suseong right away. This is my review of that visit.

A thorough consultation, and curls that aren't overdone

I'd thought about changing my look a bit, but I still wanted my usual style, so I went with a regular side-part perm! The director who did my hair gave a thorough consultation about the style I wanted, and first explained the overall length and the feel of the curl.

With a men's perm, curls that are too strong can feel like a lot, and the director picked up on that first, making it natural and easy to style every morning.

My director is off on Thursdays, so please avoid visiting on a Thursday! I was so happy with it that I plan to come back for other perms later.

A cut that's clean all the way down the back

I only did a cut here, and doesn't the back look so neat? The line at the back of my head has never been pretty, and even when I asked for it to be fixed there was always something I didn't like, but the director at 26do Hair Suseong cut it this cleanly. Just comparing before and after, it's definitely much fresher ^^

How long does a men's side-part perm take?

The side-part perm at 26do Hair Suseong took about 1 hour 30 minutes. They wrap the hair around rods, apply heat, wait a little like this, and then shampoo. It didn't take long, which I liked.

How the side-part perm and down perm turned out

This is how it looked after the neat side-part perm! The down perm also calmed the sides down, and the finished look was tidy. If your sides tend to puff up a bit, a down perm like this makes you look much more dandy, and I liked how it looked!

I wanted the finished perm to look natural overall, without a strong "I got a perm" feel, and it came out just as I hoped :) I wanted a style that doesn't look overdone in everyday life, and I was very happy with it.

After the service, they also showed me how to style my hair while blow-drying. Once you've done a side-part perm like this, for the next few months it cuts down the time spent on your hair, and you just apply a light hair product to hold it, which seemed really convenient!

Plans to return, and discount coupons

This time I did the side-part perm, down perm and cut all at once at 26do Hair Suseong, and when it's time for my next cut, I plan to come back for that too.
