Doing the perm and extensions together takes a while, but the quiet atmosphere meant I never got bored. It felt more like a restful nap with my eyes closed.

Right after the treatment, my bare face felt odd

Honestly, when I looked in the mirror right after the perm point, it felt a little strange. Maybe because it had been a while since I'd had extensions, my eyes looked heavier than usual and I needed time to adjust. Seeing the volume on a bare face, I briefly thought, "Is this too much?"

After full makeup: natural, defined eyes

But once I got home and did a full face of makeup, the perm point eyes looked so much more natural and suited my whole face!! I never realized bare eyes and made-up eyes could feel this different. Together with eyeliner, the eyes looked far more defined and open, and I was really satisfied.

With makeup on, the eyes really popped, so I felt they'd photograph much better. After a few days the initial strangeness disappeared, and I've gotten so used to these eyes that I'd feel something missing without them.
