Suwon bagel café: egg bacon and rice crackseo takeout, Orange Bagel
In short
Orange Bagel is a large bakery café with wide parking at 129 Omokcheon-ro in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon. From the first-floor display the writer boxed up an egg bacon bagel, a Laugen bagel, the signature Orange Bagel and a rice crackseo, then looked around the second-floor group tables and the wide rooftop. The chewy texture is Orange Bagel's biggest strength, so bagel lovers should come in the morning before flavors sell out.

Orange Bagel, the chewiest bagels in Suwon
I visit Orange Bagel whenever I'm craving bagels. There are lots of bagel cafés in Suwon, but out of the ones I've been to, this one has the chewiest bagels! If you love a chewy bagel, you have to check this place out!!
One reason I like Orange Bagel is that, being a large café in Suwon, it has huge parking space and lots of tables, making it great for group visits.
The first-floor bagel display and cream cheese at Orange Bagel

Step inside and you're greeted by the smell of fresh bread along with a display packed full of bagels. In the middle of the first floor there's a wide variety of bagels on display, including savory meal bagels — so if you're looking for a Suwon brunch café, this could also be a good spot to come for a bagel sandwich.

There's a bussing station next to where you pick up your drinks, so grab a fork or knife there if you need one. There's also seating on the first floor — about 8 tables inside, with a group table in the center.
The sandwich-style bagels are in the fridge section. They looked so appetizing, stuffed full of fillings. Just one is enough to fill you up, and with so many kinds to choose from, Orange Bagel is really great value as a Suwon brunch café~~

There was also a display of cream cheese in various flavors, which is even better with the bagels. I want to stock up on every flavor and spread it on plain bagels every day... bagel love...

Sold out by afternoon? Why mornings are better
The scallion bagel and crab & shrimp bagel are super popular. Orange Bagel is popular even among Suwon cafés, so if you go in the afternoon, a lot of bagel types are sold out ㅠㅠ If you want to get the bagel you're craving, I recommend a morning visit!! There are so many kinds, so track down every bagel hiding around the store (?) and buy them all!

They have 4-bagel gift boxes, which are perfect for housewarming gifts or just taking home~ The bagels are packed with fillings, so I was worried they'd get squashed if just tossed in a bag, but the box kept the shape well and the flavors didn't mix, and it was nicely divided for sharing.

Drinks and the Good Morning Set
It's known for bagels, but there's also a wide variety of drinks! They even have a Good Morning Set. Ordering it as a set gets you a discount, so keep that in mind~ With so many drink options, I had a hard time deciding what would pair well with the bagels. By the way, the drink sizes here are big haha.

There's a goods corner in one part of the first floor. The goods have a real American vibe, so they'd make nice buys for home décor too.
Second-floor group tables and the rooftop
No elevator, by the way..! The second floor is much bigger than the first, with lots of large tables. If you're visiting with a group, I'd recommend the second floor. It might just be one of the best Suwon cafés for a brunch gathering. The spacing between tables is generous, the interior feels foreign, and of course the bread is delicious.

Orange Bagel has a rooftop too! It's hot in summer, but once the weather cools down a bit, I think the rooftop will get way more popular. It's this wide and nice — shouldn't they hold some kind of performance up here...?

Bagels boxed to go: egg bacon and rice crackseo
These are the bagels I took home. The egg bacon bagel was stuffed full of egg salad and was so good. Having one with fillings and one plain without — this combo for takeout was just right.
This is the third time I've bought this rice crackseo (?) thing. Anyway it was something-rice. There's butter or something inside, so it's even better warmed up in the air fryer. Please don't just eat it as is — warm it up first.

Trying the Laugen bagel for the first time
My first try of the Laugen bagel. It's sprinkled with salt on the outside, but inside there's something like butter and honey, making it totally sweet-and-salty. It has a more chewy texture, kind of like a pretzel, and it was so good.

What does the signature Orange Bagel taste like?
This is the Orange Bagel from Orange Bagel café. The color alone tells you something's up haha. It has a subtle orange scent, and there's no jam or cream inside. It's a more plain bagel than you'd expect, so spreading cream cheese on it makes it even better. The orange scent gives it a bit of a dessert-like feel too.

Even my mom, who's not really a bread person, said the bagel was chewy and ate it happily. I'd recommend Orange Bagel as a Suwon date café and a Suwon large café.
