Jeong Ji-young Coffee Roasters AK Plaza Suwon: location, hours and parking

Jeong Ji-young Coffee Roasters AK Plaza Suwon (정지영커피로스터즈 AK플라자수원점) is on the 3rd floor of AK Plaza at Suwon Station. It is open 10:30am-8pm on weekdays and 10:30am-8:30pm on weekends and holidays. For parking, you can register your car at the department store car park.

It's right next to the 3rd-floor elevator and escalator. When I first saw it I thought what I could see was all there was and that it was small, but the space inside is huge, which I loved.

What coffee can you choose at Jeong Ji-young Coffee Roasters?
Jeong Ji-young Coffee Roasters AK Plaza Suwon has hand-drip coffee and a signature coconut coffee, and you can pick from several kinds of beans. The hand drip sounded great and so did the signature coconut coffee, so I was torn, but today my mission was the fruit sando, so I kept the drink simple and picked a decaf iced Americano! As befits a coffee specialist, the bean selection is wide, so I think coffee geeks would absolutely love this café ☕️

There were so many delicious-looking desserts that a dessert addict like me just lay down right there,,, I was desperately tempted by the fruit cakes too, but I wanted to order two things, so I went with a sando plus a salt bread combo!

True to a place that takes coffee seriously, they sell a variety of beans, and the coffee machine is a La Marzocco, one of my favorites!! Officially a certified Suwon AK Plaza must-visit.

Jeong Ji-young Coffee's own goods zone
Inside there's a goods zone with Jeong Ji-young Coffee's own cups, pens and clothing to browse. The frog is so cute haha. It's a nice way to kill time before your coffee comes~ It was so cute that I grabbed a pen haha.

Panoramic window view over the Suwon Station rotary
The window seats look down over the Suwon Station rotary (roundabout) through a huge pane of glass. The view is amazing! I zoned out watching the cars go by haha. The clean atmosphere and big windows make it a great place to rest for a moment, and sitting by the window with a coffee and watching the scenery outside, I felt a sense of calm even in a busy day ♥️

Is it a good café for studying or working near Suwon Station?
Besides the seats near the entrance, there's a separate large seating area further inside, so picking your spot is half the fun. So much fun to choose haha. I hear it's often full on weekends and holidays, so yeah,,, certified Suwon landmark coffee shop 👍🏻

What I like about this café is that the seats are roomy, there are sofa seats, and there are outlets down low, so it was awesome for studying or working! There were people actually studying, and lots of people working on laptops.

Fruit sando for ₩7,800: mango and Shine Muscat grapes
The fruit sando (fruit and cream sandwich) here is ₩7,800, and on the day I visited it had mango and Shine Muscat grapes. As a bread lover, two desserts is the golden rule^^ I'm the kind of person who goes to cafés to eat dessert haha.

It seems the fruit combination changes every day. In recent reviews I'd seen one with whole mango, but today was mango with Shine Muscat! I love both fruits, so even better~

Yummy yummy. Fruit sandos seem to be trending lately and I'd wanted to try one, and it tasted just as good as it looked~~ Fresh, plump Shine Muscat grapes, sweet mango and soft whipped cream blended well together, easy and enjoyable to eat 👍🏻
Salt bread for ₩4,000, with a soft texture
The salt bread (a buttery roll with a salty top) here is ₩4,000.

This isn't a crackly-crust salt bread but one with a softer, bready texture,

and the butter cave inside is deep, rich and salty, so it passes ^^ Moist and mild, it went well with coffee 👍🏻
Decaf iced Americano for ₩6,000, free decaf swap for pregnant customers
The decaf iced Americano is ₩6,000, and pregnant customers can switch to decaf for free, so do check on that!

Iced Americano with dessert is the golden combo, right? The acidity isn't strong, so it's a safe, easy flavor anyone can drink 👅

My snack haul that makes me happy just looking at the photo ,,,,
Jeong Ji-young Coffee Roasters AK Plaza Suwon in a nutshell
A quiet café at Suwon Station where you can study, which is rare / sandos and a variety of fruit cakes / enjoying Haenggung-dong-level coffee right at Suwon Station
It's great whether you come alone like me or chat with a friend, so I definitely plan to come back! The Suwon Station location is convenient too, so if you're nearby, drop in once and enjoy some relaxed time~~~ 🙊
