Where is Chat Baker?

Chat Baker Brunch & Bakery Café is on Seodong-daero in Gongdo-eup, Anseong, Gyeonggi. It's close to Starfield Anseong, Gongdo Lotte Mart and the Watchtower, and it's also a café near Anseong Farmland. Today I visited this big Pyeongtaek–Anseong café.

Is parking easy at Chat Baker?

Chat Baker shares its parking lot with the outlet stores. There are parking attendants, so parking is easy. There's plenty of space too, which I liked.

What is the inside of Chat Baker like?

True to a bakery café that represents Pyeongtaek and Anseong, the inside is huge. The interior is bright and clean, and the layout is excellent. The structure hanging from the ceiling looked great too. They say Chat Baker won an excellence award in the café/dessert category of the Consumer Industry Evaluation for 2025 and 2026, and that it holds the top "very excellent" food hygiene grade.

I went on a weekend and it was packed. Seeing that crowd, I could really feel how popular this bakery café is.

What did I order at Chat Baker?

I ordered the melon snow bingsu and the almond queen amann (a caramelized, flaky French-style pastry). Menu prices overall were reasonable. For a big bakery, it isn't too expensive, just about right. It was so hot that day that I suddenly craved bingsu. Chat Baker has 3 kinds of bingsu, and I picked the melon snow bingsu, and for the bakery item I went with the almond queen amann.

Does Chat Baker restock its bread quickly?

The staff at Chat Baker keep putting freshly baked bread out right away. It's so popular that the bread sells out quickly~

Chat Baker's second-floor window seats and LP music

The second floor of Chat Baker is much bigger than I expected. I went up to find a seat and was surprised at how spacious it is. I sat at a window seat, and those are popular, so they go fast.

There's also an LP player on display on the second floor. Gentle music plays through the café, and every song choice was a work of art. The music was wonderful too.

How did the melon snow bingsu and almond queen amann taste?

The melon snow bingsu was wonderfully cool and delicious on a hot day, and the almond queen amann was nutty, not too sweet, and delicious~ The moment my order arrived, the heat just melted away.

Does Chat Baker have an outdoor terrace?

Go around behind the first floor and you'll find an outdoor terrace. When the weather is nice, it would be lovely to sit out in the terrace zone.
