Daegu wedding hall buffet: rice noodle refills at Stadium Convention

I'd heard a lot of people say the food at Stadium Convention Wedding (스타디움 컨벤션웨딩) in Daegu is great, so I went with high expectations. To get to the point: from the atmosphere of the hall to the meal, I was very satisfied. Here's my honest review as a guest!

How is the parking at Stadium Convention Wedding?

The parking here is really generous! I parked at the CGV building and walked about 5 minutes. Parking matters so much when you're getting married. The best wedding hall gets all three right: parking, meal price and hall atmosphere, and it's a total pass on parking already!!!!!!

The building next to the stadium is Stadium Convention Wedding!

You can register for 2 hours of free parking, so it's plenty~! Just register at the 1st-floor lobby when you leave!

The bridal room and lobby

The bridal room was really spacious and pleasant! It's white-toned, bright and clean, so I think photos would turn out well, and the flower decorations are so so pretty~~ Best of all, there are sofas beside it, so it would be lovely for friends to come and hang out with the bride.

A bright first impression

The first thing I noticed as I walked in was the lavish flower decoration. The whole space is clean and white-toned and filled with fresh flowers, so it felt like walking into a little garden. The photo zone was prettily done too, and guests were taking lots of photos; wherever you shot, the mood came out great. It's indoors, but there are lots of windows, so it feels almost outdoors, and I think you'd get even prettier photos when the natural light comes in.

A ceremony hall that feels like a forest

Inside the ceremony hall, the ceiling was filled with green plants. Chandeliers and soft lighting blended together to create a mood that was luxurious yet warm. Many wedding halls are just flashy, but the nature-friendly interior here was really impressive.

When the bride and groom entered, the lighting and music came together to make the moment even more moving. The guest seating was laid out widely, so it never felt cramped and it was easy to move around.

What is the outdoor wedding hall like?

Ta-da! The highlight of Stadium Convention Wedding: the outdoor wedding hall!! Wow... it's so pretty...! An outdoor wedding is a dream for many women, and this is truly beautiful. The nature-friendly feel and the white-toned interior go so well together that I bet it would match a wedding dress perfectly!

I also liked that the seating is laid out generously, and even the seats are white, so it looks even cleaner and more atmospheric~!

The dining area and baby chairs

The dining area was clean and pleasant! There are also several baby chairs, so I think it's good for families coming together.

What's on the buffet at Stadium Convention Wedding?

The buffet had a really wide variety: Korean food, herbal naengmyeon (cold noodles), salads, sushi and sashimi, made-to-order dishes and desserts. Stadium Convention is famous for its food, right? It was the buffet I was most looking forward to, and after eating there I immediately understood why people say that.

Korean dishes and herbal naengmyeon

There were japchae (glass noodle stir-fry), seasoned vegetables, bulgogi (marinated beef) and all kinds of side dishes, and the seasoning wasn't heavy, so anyone could eat them comfortably. There was also a separate herbal naengmyeon corner, which is perfect for a cool finish to the meal.

Salad corner

Besides fresh vegetables, there were tomato salad, chicken tenders, sweet pumpkin salad, chicken breast salad and more, which went well with the meat. Several dressings were out too, so you can enjoy it your own way.

Sushi and sashimi

The sushi alone came in a great variety, and each piece was a good size, so it was easy to try several kinds. Popular items like salmon, tuna, shrimp and egg sushi were all there, and the sashimi was fresh, clean and not fishy at all. Every dish was good quality!

Made-to-order: rice noodles, shabu-shabu and jajangmyeon

Lots of dishes were cooked to order on the spot: rice noodles, shabu-shabu, jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) and more... I got a refill of the rice noodles twice, haha!!!

Stir-fries and all sorts of hot dishes kept being refilled, so the trays were almost never empty. The fried food was crispy, and the shrimp and chicken dishes were tasty too. I was also happy that food turned over so fast that most of it was still warm~~~

Desserts and drinks

After the meal I looked around the dessert corner, and there were really a lot of choices: cakes, fruit, macarons, roll cakes, tteok (rice cakes) and cookies. Fruit like watermelon, orange and kiwi was fresh, and the sweets went really well with drinks like sikhye (sweet rice drink) and sujeonggwa (cinnamon punch)!

A microwave just for baby food

On top of that... the dining area has a microwave set aside just for baby food. This was one more thing that impressed me personally. It's prepared separately so you can warm baby food, which I thought was a really thoughtful touch for families with kids. I was impressed that they pay attention to even small details like this.

Overall verdict

The sashimi quality at the Stadium Convention Wedding buffet was the best I've ever had at a wedding buffet!!! It was delicious, and with everything from hot soups to fried food, meat and seafood, I was even more satisfied with this wedding buffet~~!
