Samsong weekday lunch haejangguk set served fast: Jeju Eunhui-ne
In short
Jeju Eunhui-ne Haejangguk Goyang Samsong Branch is a haejangguk (spicy hangover soup) and naejangtang (beef offal soup) restaurant on Dongsong-ro in Samsong, Deogyang-gu, Goyang, Gyeonggi. On a weekday lunch visit with her mother and child, the writer ordered the naejangtang and dombe pork (sliced boiled pork) set plus a single bowl of haejangguk, and the earthenware pots arrived quickly even though the dining room was full. Can't decide on lunch? Samsong haejangguk
Song-ha! Hi, it's Song :) I went and had haejangguk (hangover soup), basically the soul food of Korea~ A lot of office workers think of haejangguk especially when they can't decide what to eat for lunch haha. Even though I broke up with alcohol a million years ago, I still went for that hangover-soup feeling and had a hot bowl of haejangguk at this Samsong haejangguk spot, Jeju Eunhui-ne Haejangguk.

That sign catches your eye right from the entrance haha. Seeing the banner with the menu drawn big out front already got my mouth watering before I even ordered! If you're talking Samsong haejangguk, it's gotta be Jeju Eunhui-ne Haejangguk Goyang Samsong Branch~

What a weekday lunch is like at Jeju Eunhui-ne Haejangguk Goyang Samsong Branch
That day I visited with my mom and my little one during weekday lunchtime. I never expected it to be busy on a weekday, but wow, it was really packed.

What we ordered: the naejangtang and dombe pork set plus a bowl of haejangguk
After sitting down with my mom, we quickly scanned the menu. What Song and her mom picked were the naejangtang + dombe pork set and the haejangguk single dish. Having a set menu was great because we got to try dombe pork too ♥︎ At Jeju Eunhui-ne Haejangguk Goyang Samsong Branch, you get a free extra bowl of rice when you order one dish per person, so it's perfect for anyone wanting a hearty meal.

We ordered quickly and then looked around some more — I've been here often, but I always end up looking around a bit more each time ㋛ haha. The broth is made from beef bones and stock simmered at high heat in a traditional cauldron, so the depth of flavor is amazing — this Samsong haejangguk place really hits my soup-loving taste buds just right.

How fast do the pots arrive when the restaurant is full?
Even though it was super crowded, the food came out faster than I expected. The moment I saw the stone pots boiling away, I was drooling haha 🤤 You know how a familiar taste is the scariest kind — you could tell at a glance that the haejangguk and naejangtang were packed with hearty ingredients.
Here's the pot boiling away~ Makes my mouth water just looking at it again haha. Fall is creeping in, and all that's left is craving hot soup like this even more, right? If you can't decide what to eat on your lunch break, go grab a bowl at this Samsong haejangguk place, Jeju Eunhui-ne Haejangguk~

You can order haejangguk without dadaegi or seonji
Naejangtang and haejangguk both come with dadaegi (chili paste) mixed in by default, but they also offer the option to leave out dadaegi, seonji (beef blood), and other ingredients — just mention it when ordering and you can enjoy the dish tailored to your taste.

Spicy broth with a generous amount of offal
With no gamey smell at all, a deep and rich broth, and spicy dadaegi stirred all the way in, it turned into exactly the kind of fiery haejangguk I love >< Personally I'm on Team Red Broth over white broth haha. My mom's naejangtang was loaded with all kinds of offal and seonji, and my haejangguk had so much meat in it that finishing the whole bowl left me completely full.

Dombe pork and kkakdugi (radish kimchi) on the side
We also tried the dombe pork alongside the haejangguk — it had a tender, moist texture with the savory flavor really coming through, so we talked about ordering dombe pork separately next time haha.

And of course, no haejangguk restaurant is complete without good kkakdugi (radish kimchi)~ The kkakdugi was really delicious too and paired perfectly with the haejangguk.
Today's review was about my visit to Jeju Eunhui-ne Haejangguk Goyang Samsong Branch, a well-known spot near Goyang Starfield. With its spicy, deep-flavored broth and generous ingredients, it was a delicious place that let me properly enjoy the taste and fill up at the same time.
