Upper and Under location, hours and parking

Upper and Under occupies the basement, 1st floor and 2nd floor of the building at 28 Gangnam-daero 102-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, 298m from Sinnonhyeon Station Exit 6. It's open daily from 11:00 to 22:00.

Parking isn't available, so you'll need a nearby public lot. The Yeoksam public parking lot costs ₩300 per 5 minutes.

Inside Upper and Under: how does each floor differ?

Upper and Under uses the whole building as a café, so it's spacious and relaxed. The terrace, basement, 1st floor and 2nd floor each have a different mood and interior, so you can pick a spot that suits you and take your time.

There are bright, sunny seats and quiet spaces for talking, so it suits a blind date or a date, and also a comfortable chat over coffee with a friend.

By the way, the 1st floor has the ordering area and an indoor restroom, which was convenient.

Soft raspberry cream and raspberry purée sit on a fluffy cake sheet. One bite and the pop of raspberries and fresh flavor fill your mouth, while the soft cream and moist sheet come together beautifully. Really delicious.

The outside is more than crisp, really crunchy, and the inside is moist and chewy, so you really feel the charm of a canelé. Inside is rich Earl Grey cream, and its fragrant Earl Grey aroma goes so well with the canelé. Delicious.
