What kind of café is Baedagol Bakery House?

Baedagol Bakery House (배다골베이커리하우스) is a café in Wondang, Goyang (123 Hoguk-ro 1121beon-gil, Deogyang-gu) that makes bingsu and drinks with seasonal fruit. It's open 10:00–21:00. In summer you can get smoothies and bingsu made with cool fresh melon, and I was craving the fresh melon snowflake bingsu, so off I went.

How do you get there from Wondang Station, and what about parking?

Just search for Baedagol Bakery House in your navigation app and it comes right up. We had lunch at a good restaurant near Wondang Station, drove over, and there it was, decorated with pretty flowers.

There's a parking lot in front of the café, and there are also 2nd and 3rd lots across the road, so no parking worries. The lots were bigger than I expected, which made me think a lot of people come here. We parked in the 2nd lot and walked over to the café.

Looking at the flower garden and trees around the café, you can tell they put a lot of care into the garden. There are parasols and tables in the pretty garden, and if it weren't for the scorching sun, I'd have loved to sit outside and enjoy the view.

Right now Baedagol Bakery House has menu items that are perfect for fresh melon lovers.

The display case at the entrance was full of cakes and breads that looked as tasty as they were pretty.

There's also a separate area with the basic self-serve setup items.

What I picked was the roll cake and

the Baedagol Bakery House signature, the fresh melon Warareu snowflake bingsu.

Fresh melon pieces are placed one by one, easy to eat and lovely to look at, on top of soft snowflake shaved ice. What more needs to be said? Cool, delicious, and I'm speechless (in a good way).

The signature fresh melon Warareu snowflake bingsu was delicious,

and the soft roll cake put me in a great mood too.
