Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium, a coffee shop by Samjeon Station Exit 1

Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium is a café close to Exit 1 of Samjeon Station on subway Line 9. I had something to do in Jamsil and looked up good cafés near Samjeon Station, and it turned out Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium sells walnut cakes. They looked so good I went straight there~

Wednesday bingsu day: 30% off, and open 7:30am to 11pm

This Young Coffee near Samjeon Station has something called Bingsu Day. Every Wednesday, 30% off all bingsu (shaved ice) menu items — amazing!! I guess it's discounted on Wednesdays because it's bingsu day. I need to get some bingsu in before summer ends~ They have lots of bingsu varieties, and apparently it's also famous as a bingsu spot in Jamsil.

Business hours are 7:30am to 11pm. There aren't many cafés that open this early, wow. It reminds me of times I couldn't get my morning americano because no café was open yet. You can get your morning ame here at Young Coffee! And it's even better that they're open late into the night.

I went on a weekday afternoon and there were quite a lot of customers~ Seems like a café the locals really use. When it's hot out, going to a café to drink coffee, eat dessert, and chat is better than staying home haha. The chairs were comfortable too, which I liked. Lately I just can't sit on chairs without backrests haha.

What's on the Young Coffee menu board? A huge dessert lineup

Young Coffee was selling a really wide variety of items~

Lots of cake slices too. Lots of croffles, cookies too. Yellow cheese pig bar, Lotus s'more, mugwort injeolmi cream, Oreo brownie, Oreo cookie. Bagels come in 6 types too — plain, tomato basil, fig, cheese olive, onion basil. Kaya toast, rye kaya toast, special kaya toast, rye special kaya toast. Pastry bungeoppang (fish-shaped bread), several kinds of oranda, and salt bread too. Pastry bread loaf. This place is a dessert paradise. Way more dessert variety than most cafés.

Young Coffee also sells coffee beans. They even had decaf beans. There were tumblers and mugs too. And a dark choco blended cold brew, ₩14,900.

Young Coffee also sells popcorn. There's a cinema menu, which I thought was interesting — items you'd normally see at a movie theater, available at Young Coffee too. Desserts at Young Coffee, the dessert café near Jamsilsaenae.

And there are various set menus too. Buying as a set seems to be cheaper. The pastry bungeoppang is really amazing — even a chocolate sweet potato pizza bungeoppang. There's also red bean, cream cheese + red bean, and mochi flavors. Since it's pastry rather than regular bungeoppang, it must taste even better. Once it gets cold, bungeoppang season will be here~~

How many kinds of bingsu does Young Coffee serve?

This place is famous as a bingsu spot in Jamsil, so the bingsu varieties were really extensive. Most customers were actually eating bingsu. The currently trendy fresh mango bingsu, red bean bingsu, yogurt bingsu, watermelon bingsu, melon bingsu. A real Jamsil bingsu spot. They also sell ssanghwa tea (herbal tonic tea), which surprised me. Sounds nice to drink warm ssanghwa tea in winter haha.

Choose from 3 coffee beans and 5 kinds of milk

One great thing about Young Coffee is that you can choose your beans — dark roast, medium roast, decaf. I always go with decaf as usual. And what really shocked me is that all menu items let you choose from 5 types of milk. Whoa... I've never seen a café like this before. Low-fat milk, oat milk, soy milk, lactose-free milk, almond breeze. People with lactose intolerance can't drink regular lattes, or have to switch to soy milk, but here there's lactose-free milk so even lactose-intolerant people can enjoy a delicious latte. Wow... this place is really amazing.

Since it was hot, I ordered a refreshing iced café latte. It was nutty and delicious even without syrup.

Very warm, packed with chestnuts, and being pastry made it even better.

I was curious so I ordered the oranda too. Went with chocolate flavor out of the several options! Crunchy and not too sweet — also delicious.

I wanted the walnut cake the most so I ordered it right away — here it is cut in half~~ So much cream cheese!! It was even better than I expected.

Inside there's cream cheese and red bean, with a generous amount of cream cheese, and being a pastry walnut cake it's crisp outside and moist inside. Not too sweet, really delicious. A true walnut cake spot ㅠ
