Jamsil comic café with an OTT room and manga: One Play

A day of manga and OTT streaming in Jamsil

I absolutely love comic cafés and OTT streaming!! While looking for an indoor date spot, I found <One Play Jamsil Branch (원플레이 잠실점)>, where you can enjoy manga and OTT streaming at the same time, in Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu, between Jamsilsaenae Station and Sports Complex Station, so off we went!

One Play Jamsil Branch is on the second and third floors!

As you go up the stairs, you will find the shoe lockers on the second floor. Leave your shoes there, change into slippers, and head up to the third floor!

Evening shower rate and how to use each floor

The counter is right beside you when you reach the third floor! You can choose your rate here, and on weekdays they have the Happiness for ₩10,000 deal, which gives you unlimited time for ₩10,000! I should come back on a weekday next time, haha. Since we visited in the evening, the two of us chose the evening shower rate (2 hours + iced tea or Americano) for ₩10,900, then upgraded our drinks to an iced vanilla latte and iced chocolate latte!

According to the usage guide, the second floor has board games, Nintendo, PlayStation, and OTT streaming, while the third floor has manga! For PlayStation and Nintendo games, just speak to the counter staff with your ID and store card!

The third-floor space was spacious, comfortable, and clean!

There was even a display case with delicious-looking cakes! They give you a flat, palm-sized pad, and you can scan it with an NFC phone to order food!!

Choosing Death Note in the third-floor manga area

This is the manga area! The manga was neatly arranged in two layers!

I spotted my beloved One Piece♡, Death Note♡, and Attack on Titan♡, so I picked volumes 1 and 2 of Death Note for the first time in ages, haha.

The OTT room projector and soft cushions

Now, when you head down to the second floor, there are private rooms for OTT streaming, PlayStation, and Nintendo!

There were so many board games, so I had the happy problem of choosing between board games, OTT streaming, or manga! We wanted to watch manga while streaming OTT, so we went into an OTT room!

The room had a table and soft backrest cushions. We brought down the drinks we had ordered on the third floor, sipped them, and chose something to watch on OTT!

There is a beam projector above your head, and if you follow the instructions posted on the wall, you can watch whichever OTT film, variety show, or drama you want! It projects onto an ordinary wall, but I was surprised by how vivid the colors were! Haha. Cold drinks, manga and OTT streaming, plus those cushy backrest cushions—it was so nice, haha.

Even the straws were pretty pink hearts, which made me happy!!! The drinks tasted better than at an ordinary café too, so I was satisfied! Haha. The iced chocolate latte had a rich chocolate flavor, while the iced vanilla latte had a subtle vanilla aroma and really good coffee flavor, haha. It was also such fun to revisit Death Note and watch the breathless battle of wits between L and Light, haha.

There were retro game machines too, and because we could comfortably enjoy board games and manga on the third floor, I think it is perfect for an indoor date!! We were too full to order food, but we had delicious drinks, enjoyed the manga and OTT streaming, and had such a fun time!!
