A Geobukseom clam restaurant after Daebu-do and Oido
Bada Super Haemul Cheonha Jogaegui, Geobukseom Oido Branch (바다수퍼해물천하조개구이 거북섬오이도점) is a grilled and steamed clam restaurant on the 3rd floor of the building at 116 Geobukseom-ro, Siheung. My husband and I had gone on a trip to Daebu-do, took a quick peek at the Oido lighthouse viewpoint, and then arrived here for clam pot!

Parking at Bada Super in Geobukseom
If you eat in the restaurant, you get 2 hours of free parking in the underground car park. So it's easy for anyone coming by car! The car park was spacious too.

Blue interior and a wall of handwritten shells
The restaurant is decorated in blue that reminds you of the sea, starting from the entrance. Even before we stepped inside, it had the feel of a proper seafood place.
One wall was filled with cute decorative seashells, and they're not just hung there: each shell has a name or a short message written on it by hand. Looking at them one by one, it felt like traces of people who had visited before, so it was fun to read them.

Size of the restaurant and table spacing
The restaurant was much bigger than I expected! There were lots of tables, and the spacing between them was generous, so we weren't squeezed up against the next table, which I liked.

Blue is the accent color throughout, so it really feels like the sea. The string-bulb lights on the ceiling were quietly pretty, too. Such a sentimental mood~ There was also a fish tank on one side.

Window seat with a sea view and sunset
Our seat was a window table with the whole sea in view (sob)! There are string lights outside the window too, so after sunset the mood gets even more romantic.
Beyond the full-glass window the open sea stretches out, and just sitting there felt great (sob)! It was around sunset, so the sky was tinted orange, and the sunset over the sea was really beautiful.

Ordering the small broth clam pot (for 2), ₩54,000
The main dishes at Bada Super are grilled clams and steamed clams! We'd been out in so much wind that day, so we ordered the broth clam pot, small size (for 2, ₩54,000), to eat something warm.

Side dishes and free cheese tteokbokki
Before the clam pot came out, we got corn salad, crunchy chili peppers and kimchi as side dishes. There was also wasabi, which goes nicely with the clams.

While we waited, they even brought out tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) loaded with cheese as a free service. It was packed with cheese and looked delicious right away. My husband, who doesn't really like tteokbokki, ate it happily. It was a nice light bite while waiting for the clam pot.

I was dying to have a beer while looking at the view, so even though the clam pot hadn't arrived yet, I had a glass with the tteokbokki. Ahh, so good~

What seafood goes into the broth clam pot?
Each table has two burners, and I had no idea how big a pot would come out. The pot was huge, which surprised me once, and then the look of the clam pot surprised me again! A staff member poured the broth into the pot for us.

The broth clam pot had a really wide variety of seafood: octopus, squid, fish cake, abalone, scallops, pen shell, hard clams, shrimp and small octopus (jjukkumi). I thought we were playing hide-and-seek with the seafood!

Melting the cheeeese~~

Another freebie 🥹 I honestly thought my stomach would burst.
