Anyang aged sashimi lunch at Namhae Mulgogi
In short
Namhae Mulgogi Anyang is an aged sashimi and handmade-dish restaurant on the fourth floor of Jungang Plaza near Beomgye Station in Anyang. I shared a ₩78,000 sashimi omakase set for two with a friend, followed by warm dishes and shabu-shabu; the variety made for a very filling lunch.

I went to Namhae Mulgogi Anyang (남해물고기 안양점) on Beomgye Station’s Culture Street for lunch with a friend. We ordered the sashimi omakase set because we wanted to try several dishes, and after the aged sashimi, warm dishes and shabu-shabu followed, leaving us very full.

Where is it near Beomgye Station, and is parking available?
The restaurant is on the fourth floor of Jungang Plaza on Beomgye Culture Street. The area felt lively because it is right in the middle of a busy district. We took bus 301 from Suwon and got there without transferring.

If you arrive by car, mechanical parking is free for two hours, after which it costs ₩1,000 per hour. The notice said that large SUVs, electric vehicles, and vehicles weighing 2 tons or more cannot park. When the lot is full, you need to use paid parking, and no parking support is provided in that case.
Does the atmosphere suit a family meal or a date?
From the entrance, I thought it would be a good place for a meal with older family members or for treating someone to dinner. The interior had wood-toned décor and felt private and traditional.

I visited with a friend this time, but I would also like to bring my parents here for a birthday meal. I also felt it would suit a meal with a romantic partner.
How much is the sashimi omakase set, and what comes with it?
The restaurant serves seasonal aged sashimi and handmade dishes, and it also had à la carte dishes and lunch specials. The sashimi omakase set we ordered was ₩78,000 for two people.

The listed set included starter porridge, an appetizer, assorted aged sashimi, a seasonal dish, a fish dish, fried dishes, and a hot pot. It suited us because we wanted to eat several foods one after another rather than just one dish.
How was the aged sashimi meal that started with porridge and mulhoe?
Porridge came first, followed by refreshing mulhoe (cold raw fish soup). I liked the progression from starting the meal with porridge to eating the sweet-and-sour mulhoe.

Next came kelp-aged sashimi. Several kinds of fish were generously arranged, and the staff explained each fish and cut one by one. I heard names including yellowtail, herring, flounder, and salmon, but I do not remember exactly which fish and cuts each piece was.

I could alternate between a soft, melting texture and a pleasantly chewy one. The sashimi came two pieces at a time, so it was fun to share one piece each with my friend.

What dishes followed the aged sashimi?
While we were eating the aged sashimi, futomaki and two pieces of sushi were also served. It already felt like we had eaten quite a few things, but more dishes were still to come.

The yuringi had a crisp texture with a sweet-and-sour sauce. The accompanying clams steamed in alcohol had pasta in the broth, so I ate the noodles and spooned up the soup as well.

Grilled fish also arrived, but I have forgotten its name. By this point, after eating not only sashimi but several other dishes, I was already quite full.

How were the final dish and the overall amount of food?
The final dish was shabu-shabu. Ending with a soup-based dish after all the other foods made the meal feel even more substantial. After my friend and I ate everything from the aged sashimi to the shabu-shabu, it became a very filling lunch—the fullest I had had in a while.

What are the hours and reservation method?
The hours listed in the original post are Tuesday through Sunday, 11:30–22:50. We made a reservation through Naver Reservation before visiting.
