Getting to Bulgogi On Soban Pangyo Branch from Pangyo Station

Bulgogi On Soban Pangyo Branch is about a 12-minute walk from Exit 1 of Pangyo Station. From the station, simply walk straight toward Pangyo Techno Valley; it is a relatively straightforward route along the main road, so it was easy to find even on a first visit.

The restaurant is on B1 of Samhwan Hi-Pex Building A. Once inside, take the escalator or elevator down to B1. Since it is an underground restaurant, the entrance can be a little confusing at first, so I hear the easiest option is to enter “Samhwan Hi-Pex Building A” in your navigation app!

It is open from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., with a break from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Parking is free if you use the B1 parking lot of the Samhwan Hi-Pex building.

What I liked most was how spacious and comfortable the restaurant was. I know many popular spots for Pangyo office workers get extremely crowded at lunch or dinner, but Bulgogi On Soban has a generously laid-out interior, so it hardly felt cramped.

There was also a reasonable amount of space between tables, and the whole restaurant was neatly kept, making for a comfortable meal. There are around 60 seats as well as group tables for several people, so it looked especially well suited to company dinners or department gatherings.

Beyond those two, there were various signature bulgogi dishes, aged bulgogi dishes, and bansang set meals! I asked the owner which dishes were popular, and they said people particularly order the signature bulgogi and aged bulgogi dishes shown in the first photo!

Mild, well-balanced side dishes

There were four basic banchan (Korean side dishes), and none were overly seasoned, so they went well with the main dish. Personally, I liked the corn salad. It was nice to eat in between bites when the bulgogi felt spicy.

Gochujang mixed bulgogi (₩13,000) This time, we ordered the gochujang mixed bulgogi, which lets you enjoy both pork bulgogi and squid at once. True to its name, it arrived generously mixed with pork and squid, and the gochujang seasoning had soaked evenly into every ingredient—even the onions were delicious!

The pork was tender, while the squid was pleasantly chewy without being tough. Rather than being indiscriminately spicy or sweet, the seasoning had a familiar gochujang bulgogi flavor with a nice balance of heat and sweetness, making it easy for anyone to enjoy.

There were also enoki mushrooms, rice cakes, and corn on the side. The rice cakes were wonderfully chewy and the corn was savory and delicious, so if you order the gochujang mixed bulgogi, definitely try the rice cakes and corn.

Warm bean sprout soup for when it got spicy

I also loved that warm bean sprout soup came with the meal. Its broth was refreshing and mild, and a spoonful after the bulgogi paired with it so nicely. I am not very good with spicy food, so I kept having the soup whenever the bulgogi felt hot; thanks to it, I think I was able to enjoy the meal deliciously right to the end, even though it was spicy!
