Hydrating facial and shoulder-line care in Seongnam: Diu Esthetic

My skin has been so dry lately, and there have been lots of days when redness makes my whole face look flushed, so I finally went for a proper skincare treatment for the first time in ages 😊 This time I visited Diu Esthetic Wirye Branch (디유에스테틱 위례점)! I had plans the next day, so I wanted to replenish moisture and smooth out my skin texture a little. The changes after the treatment were more visible than I expected, so I was really happy 🤍

We talked about my dryness and redness first

Before the treatment, we started with a consultation! I explained that my skin tends to be dry and that redness makes my face look flushed easily. Rather than just following a fixed treatment, they first asked what I was concerned about and set the treatment direction according to my skin condition, which I really liked 😊

My skin has also been looking dull lately and less firm, so I said I wanted to address not only hydration but also volume, firmness, and texture. During the consultation, they chose an ampoule that would be good for the volume, firmness, and texture concerns I had.

It was even more satisfying because they chose an ampoule for my particular skin concerns 💧

When I get skincare treatments, I prefer talking about my skin condition that day and the things bothering me, rather than having the exact same products used every time. This time too, they selected the ampoule for the dryness, redness, and texture concerns I mentioned, so I trusted the treatment a little more from the start 🤍 Contour care was included as well, so I went in expecting only skincare but got to take care of my lines too!

They started with cleansing my face and then gave me a massage, loosening not only my face but also my trapezius muscles and décolletage! (It felt sooo good..)

This time, I received a treatment using an ampoule that helps with skin volume, firmness, and texture. Since my skin is usually dry, I was also bothered by how dull and rough it could look, and I loved that it felt like my skin was being thoroughly replenished with moisture during the treatment.

They infuse the ampoule into the face with air, and it was cool but ticklish, so I just kept laughing hahaha.

The trapezius changes were even more surprising when I compared the before-and-after photos 😳

What I especially liked was that it was not just facial skincare—the contour care was included too! My posture is not great, and my shoulders are a little uneven. My left shoulder in particular sits much higher in photos, so it had bothered me every time I took pictures ㅠㅠ

But when I compared the before-and-after photos, I could clearly see that my left shoulder, which had been raised, had come down. My shoulders did feel a little more comfortable after the treatment, but seeing the difference in the photos made it even clearer, which was amazing~! My face also looked a little less puffy overall, and the lines seemed cleaner, which I loved.

How hydrated did my skin feel?

The part I was looking forward to most in this treatment was, of course, my skin! I naturally have redness and dry skin, so on bad skin days my whole face tends to look red. But after filling it with plenty of hydration, my skin felt more moisturized than before and my reddish-looking complexion seemed much more settled.

When skin is dry, even great cosmetics can feel like they are sitting on top of it. After the treatment, though, the texture itself felt smoother, which was so nice.

Makeup the day after the treatment

Most of all, I had plans the next day and put on makeup—my makeup went on SO well, seriously hahaha. Usually, dry areas can make my base separate or leave my skin looking rough, but that day my skin was moisturized, so it felt like the makeup adhered perfectly 🥹 My boyfriend told me I looked so pretty as soon as we met, and that made me even happier haha 🤍

My makeup went on beautifully, and I was so satisfied because it was not just my facial skin that improved—my facial lines looked more defined too. My boyfriend complimented my skin as well. He said he wanted to start coming here too... hahahahahaha

How it felt after the treatment

I went in only expecting my skin to feel more hydrated, but I was even more satisfied because I could take care of my skin texture as well as my contour and trapezius area. I think I was especially surprised by how visible the changes were after comparing the before-and-after photos myself.

My raised left shoulder definitely looked more balanced, and my face line looked a little cleaner too, so I liked my photos more than before 😊 If your skin is dry or dull and your makeup does not apply well, this could be a good way to get your skin condition ready before an important appointment.

If, like me, you are concerned about skin texture because of redness plus dryness, or if you want contour and shoulder-line care along with skincare, I think it would be nice to try once 🤍

Final thoughts

I was more satisfied with this Diu Esthetic treatment than I expected! Replenishing moisture in my dry, flushed-looking skin made it feel hydrated and smooth, and I was happy because my makeup applied really well the next day 😊 Above all, contour care was included, so I was most surprised to see changes in my trapezius muscles and uneven shoulders in the before-and-after photos.

I could take care of both my skin condition and my lines, so I think I will remember this place again next time my skin starts looking dull and rough 🤎
