Seonbu-dong kalguksu restaurant in Ansan, two-bowl lunch set: Todamok
Todamok is a Korean restaurant in the Seonbu-dong area of Ansan, Gyeonggi, where kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) and bossam (boiled pork with wraps) come to the table together. Two diners ordered the 2-person set — kalguksu plus a half plate of bossam — and picked one bowl of algoni kalguksu (fish roe and milt noodle soup) and one bowl of chicken kalguksu, trading bowls back and forth. The two soups ran in different flavor directions, which made for a more satisfying lunch than ordering just one, and Todamok's handsome building and easy parking kept the visit simple.
