Deokmi Atelier Gwang-an Branch is a dessert café in a side street near Gwangalli Beach in Suyeong, Busan. After a raw fish meal, the writer stopped by for crème brûlée French toast, the seasonal peach tiramisu, an orange americano and a royal vanilla bean latte. The crème brûlée French toast, golden outside and moist inside, was the standout.
Gwanganda Jjji Gwangalli Main Branch is a seafood restaurant with floor-to-ceiling ocean views in Suyeong, Busan. The 55,000-won-per-person daejjihanhsang course ran from assorted sashimi and banchan through octopus tartare, abalone porridge, crab-leg tempura and crab stew. It's less a single plate of sashimi than a full seafood course, great for sharing with a group.
