It was a hot summer day and I was craving a cold coffee and freshly baked bread, so I headed to the dog-friendly café UUU (유유유) in Gimhae. It was a great pick for anyone looking for a Gimhae bakery café, too. We could relax with our dog, and the wide variety of baked goods and the spacious interior left a real impression, so let me introduce it.

Yu Yu Yu hours and parking in Gimhae
Yu Yu Yu is open 08:30–22:00 on weekdays (Mon–Fri) and 10:00–22:00 on weekends (Sat–Sun). Parking is available.
What are the outside and inside of Yu Yu Yu like?

The café is neither too big nor too small, which actually made it comfortable to stay in. The relaxed atmosphere is good for sipping coffee and resting, and it's an easy place for a long chat.
At the entrance there's a little pond-like setup with stepping stones and model fish, so I think kids would love looking at it.

Window seats, group seats and outdoor seats
Yu Yu Yu has a good range of seating, from window seats to group seats and outdoor seats. Green mountains were visible through the window, so it never felt stuffy, and you can pick a spot to suit your mood.

How much of Yu Yu Yu can you share with your dog?
The 1st floor is the dog-friendly space, and the 2nd floor is run as a no-pet zone. I liked that the spaces are separated so guests without dogs can relax too.
When you look for cafés you can visit with a dog, many have limited seating or cramped spaces, but UUU runs its whole 1st floor as a dog-friendly area, so we could spend our time a bit more comfortably.

A dog-friendly café with dog cushions
Yu Yu Yu even has dog cushions, so you don't need to bring a stroller or your own cushion to settle in. You could feel the consideration for dogs in many little details.

There are photo zones and cute props here and there too, so taking pictures was fun and just wandering around was enjoyable.
Yu Yu Yu menu: signature drinks, summer bingsu, bakery

Besides coffee, Yu Yu Yu has its own signature drinks. Since it was summer they were also selling bingsu (shaved ice dessert), and they say they boil domestic red beans themselves every day.

The bakery has lots of variety: salt bread, croissants, financiers and more. There were so many choices that picking was hard! Besides people eating in, customers kept coming in for takeout. With so much variety it goes well with coffee, and I thought it would be fine to stop by just to buy bread.
How do the custard cream brûlée salt bread and ham and cheese croissant taste?
We ordered two iced Americanos, a mill-style misutgaru (roasted grain drink), a custard cream brûlée salt bread and a ham and cheese croissant.

The moment our order arrived, the looks caught my eye. We had already eaten a meal, but the bread looked so good that resisting wasn't easy.
The custard cream brûlée salt bread was crisp outside and moist inside, and the sweet cream with the salty salt bread went together better than I expected. The ham and cheese croissant had a rich butter flavor, and the salty ham and cheese blended well, so it would work as a simple brunch item too.

Mill-style misutgaru and iced Americano
The mill-style misutgaru had a strong nutty flavor and was almost not sweet at all. If you like sweet drinks, you might want to ask for extra syrup. The Americano wasn't very acidic either, so it was nice to drink with bakery items.

Why I recommend Yu Yu Yu in Gimhae with a dog in summer
Yu Yu Yu is close to Gaya CC (a golf course), so it's good for a stop before or after a round, and it works as a Gimhae drive destination too. Above all, in weather as hot as these days you can't leave a dog in the car even briefly, so being able to spend time together indoors was what satisfied me most.
I think people who want to drink coffee in a quiet atmosphere will be happy here, as well as those who want a relaxed time with their dog. If you're looking for a dog-friendly café in Gimhae, it's worth a visit.
