Clap Pizza Daegu Believe Heritage is a pizzeria on Deuran-ro 73-gil in Suseong, Daegu, right next to the burger place Downtowner 💃 Every now and then a pizza craving hits, and I finally made it to the Daegu Clap Pizza I'd been curious about 🍕

For parking, use a nearby paid lot. If your combined spending at Clap Pizza and Downtowner is ₩30,000 or more, they give you a 1-hour parking ticket!

At the Daegu branch you order at the kiosk by the entrance!

Pizza sizes are Personal, Regular and Large. Personal seemed small and Large seemed huge, so! Regular it is 〰️

Seating and the self-serve bar at Clap Pizza

The dining room is shared by Clap Pizza and Downtowner. It's wide open, so it never feels stuffy and it's easy to move around! It seemed good for groups, and perfectly fine if you come alone too 🫶🏻

Everyone seemed to be ordering from both Clap Pizza and Downtowner 🤗 Maybe I should have too...

When the buzzer goes off, you go pick up your food. Pizza really should be eaten right when it comes out, ugh 🤍 The crust looks crispy too! Look at the cheese on top of the ragu pasta 〰️ They also gave us garlic sauce!

How does Clap Pizza's pepperoni & cheddar potato half-and-half taste?

The Regular size is quite big, and with the toppings piled on, I wondered if we'd even have leftovers 🤤 It's famous, but it's also cheap, so I thought, can it really be good? And I hated myself for thinking that, haha. Each slice of pepperoni pizza has at least 3 pieces of pepperoni on it.

Sweet-and-salty cheddar potato pizza

The cheddar potato was the best combo: the richness of cheddar, the mildness of potato and the saltiness of bacon 🤍 Bite into a fresh-out-of-the-oven slice and the cheese stretches! If it feels a little greasy, top it with ragu pasta or a pickle to balance it out, though I didn't find it greasy at all.

No questions asked, I truly believe pepperoni is the foundation of pizza. And they pile this much on a single slice? That's guilty as charged 🤍 The saltiness of the pepperoni with the soft pizza is the best! A flavor you know for sure is scary, haha, trembling

Also, pizza plus garlic sauce isn't optional, it's mandatory. I can't live without it 🫠

Clap Pizza sides: corn salad and ragu pasta

The corn salad (₩3,000) tastes exactly like you'd expect. But it's topped with fried onions, so you get crunch at the same time. A good appetite starter 😚

The ragu pasta (₩9,000): wow, the ragu is seriously rich, hahaha 🍝 It came fresh out of the oven, and when the pizza starts to feel heavy, one bite of this is so good. An oven pasta with ragu? You just have to trust it 🤤 They say it's Clap Pizza's best side dish!

And the soda has free refills if you order one, hehe 🤍〰️

Is Clap Pizza Daegu Believe Heritage worth a return visit?

When you finish, leave your tray at the Return Here station. I finally tried the famous Clap Pizza, and I'm totally satisfied! In Busan there were huge lines outside Clap Pizza and I wondered what the fuss was about, and now I get it. If you're looking for a good place to eat in Suseong, Daegu, I recommend Clap Pizza Daegu Believe Heritage 🍕🤤
