Seooreung Chinese restaurant: no break time, wrapped pickled radish

Jjamppong Jijeon Seooreung Branch is a Chinese restaurant on Seooreung-ro in Deogyang-gu, Goyang, Gyeonggi, open every day of the year from 09:00 to 22:00 with no break time. Two diners ordered jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup), jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles) and glutinous-rice tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) and received spicy fried mandu (dumplings) on the house. The individually wrapped pickled radish and a self-bar with drinks and multigrain rice stood out for hygiene and thoughtfulness. Jjamppong Jijeon Seooreung Branch is an easy, clean choice for Chinese food with family or friends.

Italian spot near Jisan Resort, Yongin: cream pane, seafood risotto

Ttukbaegi-e Dameun Italia (뚝배기에 담은 이탈리아) is a wood-fired Italian restaurant on Nampyeong-ro in Yangji-eup, Cheoin-gu, Yongin, that serves every dish in a large ttukbaegi (Korean clay pot). The writer ordered the signature cream pane pasta (22,000 won) and the tomato seafood risotto (20,000 won), and especially liked the thick cream sauce with truffle-scented mushrooms and the large, fresh seafood. Portions at Ttukbaegi-e Dameun Italia are generous enough that two dishes feed three people, making it a good Italian stop near Jisan Resort.

Seoul Korean BBQ for work dinners with corkage in Eungam: Yukjjip

Yukjjip (육쯥) is an aged-pork Korean BBQ restaurant beside Bulgwangcheon stream, right in front of Eungam Station in Eunpyeong, Seoul. On a weekday visit before 6pm with a work group, staff grilled aged Jirisan pork belly and pork neck for the table on Yukjjip's second floor overlooking the stream, and a receipt review earned a free handmade sausage. With corkage allowed and 6-person tables, Yukjjip is a strong pick for company dinners and group gatherings.
