Burger diner in Jeonpo, Busan: lunch date and thick patties, Dufftown
In short
Dufftown Burger Jeonpo Main Branch is an American diner-style handmade burger restaurant on Jeonpo Sai-gil in Busanjin, Busan. On a lunch date with her husband, the writer ordered the patty melt (11,000 won), the Dufftown & Dancing (10,100 won) and a half-size chili cheese fries with a drink (7,500 won), and the thick, juicy patty and not-too-sweet sauce stood out most. Dufftown has only 5–6 tables and no dedicated parking, but it is a 7-minute walk from Jeonpo Station and an easy stop on a Jeonpo date.

Today I'm sharing a lovey-dovey date review from Jeonpo Café Street with my husband — it's been a while since we went out just the two of us!
Jeonpo Café Street has so many pretty cafés and shops that it's a great date spot. But did you know that just one street over, on Jeonpo Sai-gil, there are a bunch of hidden gem restaurants run by real veteran cooks?
This particular burger place we visited is apparently loved by chefs — even chef Lee Won-il is a fan, or so I heard. So today's lunch was decided instantly, and off we went! Let me record in detail the charm of Dufftown, a handmade burger spot in Busan.
Dufftown location, parking, and distance from Jeonpo Station
- 📍 Location: 25 Seojeon-ro 68beon-gil, Busanjin-gu, Busan, South Korea
- ⏱️ Hours: 11:30-21:00
- 🚗 Parking: No parking support, no dedicated lot

Dufftown, a well-known handmade burger spot in Busan, sits across from Jeonpo Café Street on Jeonpo Sai-gil. It's also just a 7-minute walk from Jeonpo Station, so accessibility is really good.
Jeonpo-dong itself is such a fun neighborhood to wander alley by alley, so it's great for building a course of lunch, then café, then shopping. In that sense, it's a perfect pick for a date restaurant too.
That said, given the nature of Jeonpo's alley commercial district, you can't really expect a dedicated parking lot. Dufftown doesn't have one either, so you'll need to use a public or paid parking lot nearby. Public transit access isn't bad though, so I'd recommend visiting by subway or on foot if you can.
Dufftown is a place with an all-American diner feel that blends naturally into Jeonpo's distinctly hip atmosphere. Even the exterior radiates 'good restaurant' energy.

Right there on the door were stickers marking their participation in the 2026 Korea Burger Championship and the 2025-26 American Burger Week. Just seeing that history got my expectations up.

Dufftown's interior vibe and seating
If I had to sum up Dufftown's atmosphere in one line: an American diner feel, done cleanly.

The space is full of modern mid-century vibes. Tables are on the smaller side, about 5-6 of them.

I liked that it wasn't overly decorated — the casual mood of a proper burger joint came through nicely.
Dufftown menu and price range

Dufftown, this well-loved handmade burger spot in Busan, has standard cheeseburgers and classic burgers too, but it's packed with menu items that feel distinctive from the name alone — Patty Melt, Dufftown & Dancing, Blue Cheese Arugula, Kimchi BBQ. I think that might be Dufftown's biggest charm.
I liked that instead of just playing it safe with typical combos, they show off their own unique take on burgers. And looking at the prices, they hover around ₩10,000, which feels quite reasonable given how much handmade burgers cost these days.
The menu itself is creative but the prices aren't too heavy, so it made me want to come back and try a different burger each time.

Dufftown's patty melt: a thick patty between grilled toast

Seeing the menu items all lined up together like this — the visuals are insane, right?

We started with the patty melt first, and this is honestly a style that patty lovers would be satisfied with.

Instead of a regular bun, it's a thick beef patty, cheese, and plenty of caramelized onions sandwiched between grilled toast — a combination that's very classic yet substantial. The first thing you notice when you take a bite is definitely the presence of the patty.

It was the thickest, juiciest patty I've had among the handmade burgers I've tried recently. The meat had a solid texture, so it was satisfying to chew, and the balance was great with the salty cheese and sweet onions coming together.

The toast was grilled crisp on the outside, which contrasted nicely with the juices inside — personally, this was one of the most satisfying dishes we had. Truly deserves to be the best menu item!

Dufftown & Dancing, the signature burger topped with egg and bacon
And then the visually striking Dufftown & Dancing. This one really felt like the restaurant's signature dish at first glance.

A thick patty topped with vegetables, tomato, bacon, and an egg — the visuals were rich just from that.

The nuttiness of the patty, the softness of the egg, the saltiness of the bacon, and the freshness of the vegetables all came together for good balance.
What I liked best was that the sauce wasn't sweet! Sweet and salty is great and all, but these days handmade burger sauces are just way too sweet. This burger, though, really let the ingredients' own flavors shine. Each element didn't just sit on its own — they all worked together well. The balance was great!

Half-size chili cheese fries, plenty for two to share
We also ordered the chili cheese fries as a side. Wait, is this really the half size??

The fries were generously topped with cheese and chili, perfect for sharing between two, and it was so plentiful you'd never guess it was the half size. The rich flavor of the chili and the gooey cheese went great with the fries, and it was mildly spicy, so our hands kept reaching for more between bites of burger.
Overall thoughts on Dufftown
My recommendation for Western food in Jeonpo-dong! My recommendation for handmade burgers in Busan! My recommendation for burgers in Jeonpo! Conclusion: Dufftown is a handmade burger spot with a clearly distinct menu personality.
If you like handmade burgers, you know how surprisingly many places charge high prices for pretty average burgers. But here, they lead with creative menu items while keeping prices approachable, which I liked even more.
Personally, the thick, juicy patty impressed me the most, and the menu lineup isn't the usual, so I found myself thinking 'I need to try the other burgers next time.' If you're looking for a satisfying burger spot around Seomyeon or Jeonpo-dong, this could be a great choice. Highly recommend!
