Since I happened to be near the Busan Museum of Modern and Contemporary History and stopped by for lunch, I ordered the raw beef poke and ABC juice, then took a look around the store — the clean, white-toned interior throughout gives it a cozy, comfortable atmosphere, and there are mouthwatering menu posters and art pieces scattered around too, which makes the mood even better~

What the raw beef poke tastes like and what's in the bowl

First up, the raw beef poke (yukhoe poke) at this recommended lunch spot near Jungang Station in Busan made a great first impression — from the glossy sheen of the nutty sesame oil coating to the generous portion of fresh raw beef, it looked absolutely delicious

Besides the raw beef, the poke came topped with cherry tomatoes, lettuce, corn, red cabbage, flakes, and a sprinkle of parsley

You can fully enjoy the fresh raw beef's flavor just eating it with the various toppings, but I usually add the oriental dressing whenever I eat salad or poke, and mixing it in here was delicious — the nutty beef and the tangy dressing worked really well together~

How was the ABC juice?

I also looked for a drink to go with the raw beef poke and ended up ordering the ABC juice, made with fiber-rich apple, antioxidant-packed beet, and beta-carotene carrot — it was sweet and tangy but felt healthy, so it was easy to drink without any guilt haha
