Seomyeon lash salon: perm, tint and brow tidy before dinner, Double D

Normally I need a curler and mascara every morning to make my eyes look even a little bright, but it's hot out these days and I can't be bothered, so I finally got a lash perm again at Double D (더블디), a top lash perm spot in Seomyeon~

Where is Double D in Seomyeon?

Double D is a 3-minute walk from Bujeon Station Exit 4, on the 2nd floor of Unam Building. Super easy to get to, so good!

When I have plans in Seomyeon I tend to book quick treatments like this, so I came before a dinner date this time too. The salon is on the 2nd floor of Unam Building!! Just come up and Double D is right there.

What is Double D's lash salon like inside?

Double D has a white-toned interior and the space was way bigger than I expected. It felt bright and clean overall, and roomy rather than stuffy, which I loved~

The waiting area is spacious, and they even have a tea zone, such a thoughtful touch .. 🤍 There's also a mirror outside, so checking the result after the treatment was super easy. The whole place gave me the impression of being well looked after, so my trust went up before I even started.

How much is a lash perm at Double D in Seomyeon?

The basic Signature lash perm (volume perm) at Double D is ₩40,000, and the Keratin Premium perm is ₩50,000.

The prices are reasonable!! Personally I believe you get what you pay for, so this price range feels fair to me~

Signature lash perm and black tint at Double D: the process

What I got at Double D was the basic Signature lash perm plus black tinting, and it took about 1 hour. The treatment area is further inside, and it's spacious too, and the bed was comfy!!

Before: thick, long, straight lashes that droop

My lashes are thick, long and straight, so once summer comes they just droop. That's why I try to get a lash perm regularly, and I always get one in summer especially, since I go on vacation!

After: a natural, subtle curl and a brow tidy

I asked for a natural curl that isn't over the top and I absolutely love it. The black tinting makes my lashes look sturdier too, which is nice. The treatment took about 1 hour.

+++ And they quickly tidied up my brows too, and she must have an amazing eye for it. They came out so clean and suit me so well that I think I'll come back just for brows next time,,

Lashes that curl up definitely make your look more defined. And my eyes open wider T_T haha. One set of lashes makes such a huge difference in your look. Even when I do nothing, it looks like I made an effort

How does the lash perm curl look 2 days later?

Two days after the lash perm at Double D, the curl line was still holding, so with no curler or mascara I saved 10 minutes getting ready for work.

It's been two days and I love the line so much I keep taking photos T_T haha. Skipping the curler and mascara saved me 10 minutes on my commute prep,, and it's been so humid lately that my lashes were really drooping, so I'm super happy ... 🥹💖💖

Verdict: is Double D in Seomyeon worth it?

It was my first time at Double D, and I loved the salon, the treatment and the owner, so I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lash perm in Seomyeon or Jeonpo!!
