Gym in Dongcheon-dong, Yongin with big showers, sunny views: Brofit

Brofit Health & PT Dongcheon Branch is a gym on the 5th floor of Core Plaza on Dongcheon-ro in Suji-gu, Yongin. After comparing three gyms in Dongcheon-dong, the writer chose Brofit Dongcheon and trained there for about a week, using the spacious workout floor, the women's locker room with plenty of lockers, a shower room with about 7-8 shower heads and the stretching zone. With enough machines to keep waits short and no PT sales pressure, Brofit Dongcheon is a comfortable, easygoing gym in Dongcheon-dong.

Gyukatsu spot in Pangyo: steki-don and butter-first grilling, Ichigyu

Ichigyu Avenuefrance Pangyo is a gyukatsu (breaded beef cutlet) restaurant on the 2nd floor of Avenuefrance in Pangyo, Seongnam. Visiting with a friend at 6 pm on a weekday, the writer ordered the striploin gyukatsu and the striploin steki-don (steak rice bowl) and grilled the striploin on the tabletop brazier in melted butter. Verdict: at Ichigyu, put the butter on the brazier first for the best flavor, and book ahead for dinner.

Sinnonhyeon café with a blueberry yogurt smoothie for three: Selecto

Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch 24 Auto Brew Cafe is a 24-hour café near Sinnonhyeon Station in Seocho, Seoul.
