Rainy-day pet café in Yangyang with parasol seats: Hello Mamma Mia

On the last day of our Yangyang trip, we were trying to figure out where to go with Bori, and that's how we found Hello Mamma Mia. I'd been searching for dog-friendly cafés in Yangyang or Sokcho, and since it was drizzling that day, I wanted somewhere comfortable indoors too — Hello Mamma Mia had both a nice indoor space and a huge outdoor area, so it was exactly what I was looking for!

What the indoor seating at Hello Mamma Mia is like

Once you step through the door at Hello Mamma Mia, it's a sweetly decorated space.

With brick interiors, plants scattered around, and big windows showing the view outside, it was also a nice spot to just sit and relax with a coffee.

Overall, there was none of that typical dog-café smell — clean and cozy!

They also have manner belts on hand, so even dogs prone to marking can visit without any worries. Since it's a space shared by many dogs, you could tell it was managed with a lot of care.

Menu for people: americano, egg tart and ex-boyfriend toast

We ordered an americano and a vanilla latte at Hello Mamma Mia — both generous in size and good in taste. For dessert we had the egg tart and the ex-boyfriend toast, and both were satisfying! By the way, you can visit even without a dog!

Dog menu: Bori's first meong-latte

Hello Mamma Mia also has a variety of drinks and treats made just for dogs. All the treats here are said to be homemade and go through official pet food registration before being sold, which made me feel even more at ease.

This was the very first meong-latte (dog-friendly latte) of Bori's life, and the moment it arrived she inhaled it in a storm... she loved it so much!!

The portion was more generous than expected, so the owner even packed up the leftovers for us. And by the way, the owner is incredibly kind!!🫶🏻

The 60-pyeong turf yard and parasol seats in the rain

Hello Mamma Mia also has a 60-pyeong outdoor space, with artificial turf covering the entire yard — a really great space for dogs to run around in.

There are parasol seats where you can sit even in the rain, so you can enjoy it without worrying about the weather!

We took advantage of a brief break in the rain to head outside with Bori, and I could tell that on a sunny day dogs would be able to run around even more happily! With plants and little decorations placed around the yard, dogs would probably have fun just looking around too, haha.

Hello Plaque, the dog oral care powder sold at the café

Hello Plaque was something I'd been curious about even before visiting this dog-friendly café in Yangyang!

It's a powder-form oral care product for managing pet bad breath and tartar. Since it comes as a powder,
