Why we picked Eoneu Dal for dinner after a Pocheon drive
Eoneu Dal (어느달) is an Italian restaurant at 54 Jeongmundong-gil, Pocheon. I recently went on a drive around Pocheon with a friend, and while wondering what to have for dinner, we found this place: Eoneu Dal, a Pocheon Italian restaurant!

When I looked it up, Eoneu Dal turned out to be widely known as a great spot near Pocheon Art Valley and a Pocheon pasta favorite. Having been there, I can say the vibe is stylish and the food was satisfying too, so here it is today!
Parking, exterior and interior at Eoneu Dal
Eoneu Dal is in a standalone commercial building with a generously sized parking lot, so it's easy to get to by car. As a proper drive-trip restaurant, there was no parking worry at all!

The interior is white-toned with indoor greenery here and there, which feels both really stylish and bright. The tables are spaced widely too, so it never felt stuffy.
Isn't the interior with all this greenery so pretty? (They're probably fake plants, right?! o_o)

Group seating and high chairs: good for a family meal?
Eoneu Dal has separate group seating, so it looked great for family gatherings and group get-togethers.

They also have high chairs! Families dining with little ones should be able to use the place comfortably, so I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a child-friendly restaurant in Pocheon. The atmosphere is relaxed overall, so I thought it would work well as a place for a family meal in Pocheon too!
Eoneu Dal menu, how to order, and what the two of us got
You order through the QR code attached to the table, and there is no paper menu. So I captured the menu from Catch Table (a Korean restaurant reservation app).

The menu ranges widely, from steak to pasta, risotto and salads. Here's what we ordered.
- Prime striploin steak ₩48,000
- Original carbonara ₩18,000
- Caprese salad ₩17,000
- Omija ade and grapefruit ade
A perfect lineup for two people to eat until stuffed, haha. My friend's family home is in Pocheon, so she also used up her high-oil-price relief support fund that day, every last won..★
What are the bread and pickles at Eoneu Dal like?
After you order, while you wait, Eoneu Dal brings out bread and water. The bread is a butter-filled salt bread.

The salt bread is packed with butter inside, so it was nicely salty and so tasty.

And these pickles, maybe they're homemade, are sooo good. Super crunchy, sweet and sour, and refreshingly cool!!
How is the burrata caprese salad?
The caprese salad (₩17,000) at Eoneu Dal was a really good combination of tomato, mozzarella, burrata cheese and basil sauce. A perfect appetizer to get your appetite going! Salad first, then pasta, then even the steak! I'll go in order.
You cut it all open with a knife. Slice it up, go wild!!!!

Once it's cut up nicely like this, you just pile a bit of each on and eat^o^ Ahh, so delicious

It's fresh yet you also get the nutty richness of the cheese, so the combo of tomato, cheese and basil sauce was great, and putting it on the bread was great too! So delicious!
Prime striploin steak: doneness and garnish
The prime striploin steak (₩48,000) at Eoneu Dal was cooked just right and very juicy. Next up, hehe... the steak.

Maybe because it's prime-grade striploin, it looked gorgeous right from the start

The doneness was just right and it was juicy, so I was happy!

Personally, the garnish and mashed potatoes that came with it were really good. It's not only the steak that's great; I liked that even the sides are well done!!
What does the cream-free original carbonara taste like?
The original carbonara (₩18,000) at Eoneu Dal is made the traditional way, with oil, a little sauce and egg yolk instead of cream. It was the most interesting dish of the day!

I usually think of cream pasta, so this traditional-style carbonara felt different. A subtle truffle aroma rises up, and with the salty flavor of bacon added, it was much nuttier and richer than I expected.
If thick, heavy cream sauce feels like too much for you but you still want something salty and rich, this carbonara could be a good choice! One note: I like thin spaghetti noodles, but Eoneu Dal uses fairly plump pasta noodles. (My friend loved it, haha, she cleaned her plate.) So keep that in mind when you order!
Omija ade and grapefruit ade: worth ordering?
The omija (five-flavor berry) ade and grapefruit ade at Eoneu Dal taste like homemade syrup rather than store-bought syrup, so I really recommend them. We ordered both.

They seem to make the omija syrup and grapefruit syrup in-house. It isn't that store-bought syrup taste, and I really loved it... so fresh with just the right sweetness, and it totally helps digestion. Definitely get an ade (nods)
Verdict: how was Eoneu Dal for dinner after a Pocheon drive?
Eoneu Dal is a place where my friend and I left really satisfied! With its clean white-toned interior, relaxed seating, group seating and high chairs, it's good for dates and also for family meals!
The food was highly satisfying overall, and I especially hope you try the prime striploin steak and the original carbonara. I recommend it to anyone looking for a Pocheon pasta restaurant, a place near Pocheon Art Valley, or a good stop on a drive. The atmosphere is nice too, so it was a really good Pocheon date spot! Satisfaction for the price was high, so if you're looking for a restaurant in Pocheon, give Eoneu Dal a visit!
