Gangnam Station Korean BBQ room for 5 friends, short rib: Gogikkun

Gogikkun Kimchunbae Gangnam (고기꾼 김춘배 강남점) is a private-room Korean BBQ restaurant in an alley between Gangnam Station and Sinnonhyeon Station in Seoul. The writer and 4 friends ate in a 4th-floor room, ordering the Chunbae couple set (450g, ₩71,000) plus extra pork neck, then beef doenjang stew, perilla oil scallion kimchi fried rice and half-and-half naengmyeon; the juicy skirt meat and tender short rib meat were the highlights. On this second visit since a company dinner, Gogikkun Kimchunbae Gangnam proved a group-dinner spot worth returning to, thanks to free corkage and private rooms.
