I recently visited Sushi Ian N (스시이안앤), a conveyor-belt sushi spot in Daechi-dong with great value for money. I started a diet for my wedding preparations, so (?) I keep ending up eating sushi..?!?🙄
Where is Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station, and what are its hours?
Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station is at Daechi-dong 897-13, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, 207 m from Seolleung Station Exit 2, about a 3-minute walk. It is open daily 11:20–22:00, with break time from 15:00 to 17:00 (check days off separately).
It's near Seolleung Station, so it was super easy to find. It's even a rare (?) good restaurant in Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, where you can actually park!
Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station exterior and parking
Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station is on the 2nd floor of a building.

Every plate of sushi at Sushi Ian N is a flat ₩1,990.

The building itself is old, but it seemed well maintained.

Hop up the stairs and you reach the tidy entrance of Sushi Ian N!

It turns out there's an elevator too, so it seems like a good place to bring your parents. There's a helpful parking notice posted: you can park on basement level 1 of the building or in the Areumville parking lot (아름빌주차장) across from the restaurant!
6:30pm on a weekday: waiting and seating atmosphere

I visited Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station at 6:30pm on a weekday and there was no wait. By the time we left, though, it was almost full.

There was no queue, but we waited briefly while a seat was being cleared, and the waiting room had phone chargers.

With the sushi rail in the middle, one side has table seats (3 or more people) and the other has counter seats (2 or fewer). We were shown to the counter.
Sushi Ian N menu and how to order

The sushi lineup comes on an easy-to-read menu, with all kinds of sushi, gunkan (seaweed-wrapped sushi), noodles and even dessert! You can pick whatever you like.

They have beer, soju, sake and more, so it's a good spot for drinkers too!
All sorts of sushi going round and round~~ If something is on the menu but not on the rail, just order it directly from the staff.
₩1,990 flat-price sushi: how did it actually taste?
The counter is set with basic tableware, water, wasabi, rakkyo (pickled shallots) and pickled ginger.
Sushi usually starts with white fish..! But maybe for freshness, I didn't see white fish on the rail. So we grabbed what passed in front of us, and both were really delicious!!

Next was cheese egg sushi! Moist and so good 💛

Bacon shrimp is a combo that can't possibly be bad ✨️

The beef tartare tataki was nicely torched too, smoky, rich and tasty.

The cheese sea snail sushi had no off smell and was delicious as well.

I have no idea what this one was..? Anyway, nothing tasted bad!

Wagyu truffle basil tataki sushi!! This quality for ₩1,990 💯

Seaweed (gamtae) and sweet shrimp... is this really ₩1,990? The value is just so good!!

Order directly what's not on the rail
We ordered the aged kimchi sushi and the eel sushi separately, and both were delicious.

We also asked for red seabream belly and baguette eel, and they whipped them up in no time.

This one with kimchi on top of beef was good too! But the diet..? That still counts, right...??

To finish I ordered the salmon tartare roll, and I was eating so fast that the photo lost its focus 🙄 I tried as many kinds of sushi as I could, and most of it was fresh and tasty.
Sushi Ian N review event and kids' service
At Sushi Ian N, if you ask for a receipt and write a Naver review, you can get a drink or sushi, so give it a try!!

Elementary-school-age children and younger get a free serving of fries, so it seems like a good place to come with your kids.
