I visited Bacha Suji Branch (바차 수지점), a bar near Suji-gu Office Station where you can enjoy a properly hip vibe with really good food. The stylish exterior caught my eye as I walked past and I thought, I have to try this place, and I was super happy with it haha. Okay, let's go to Bacha~

What are the opening hours and parking at Bacha Suji Branch?
Bacha Suji Branch is open until 2 a.m. Monday to Thursday and 3 a.m. Friday and Saturday, so it looked perfect for a second or third round! For parking, I recommend the Suji-gu Office public parking lot or the spots with the green parking line in front of the bar haha. The vibe is amazing even from far away, right? haha

- Suji-gu Office public parking lot recommended: free after 18:00 on weekdays, free on weekends and public holidays

What is the atmosphere like at Bacha Suji Branch?
The interior is dark-toned overall, with neon signs and stylish indirect lighting, so it feels hip and cozy like a pub at the same time. It also looks like a great date spot for couples, hehe.

They also have highballs in lots of flavors, so it seems nice for girls coming with friends too haha.

The restroom is right inside the door, so it's super convenient to pop over haha.
What did we order at Bacha Suji Branch?

The menu is packed with tasty snacks and dishes..! From those I ordered the popular sous-vide pork jowl with chive salad (suyuk muchim, sliced boiled pork dressed with seasoned greens), mozzarella chili shrimp, and brisket jjapaghetti (black bean noodles). There were so many good things that I agonized over what to eat haha. I wanted all of it lol

The complimentary snack was pretzel crackers, which I happily munched on, yum haha.
Mozzarella chili shrimp: chili sauce and garlic mayo fries

The mozzarella chili shrimp I'd been wanting to try has arrived! Plump, meaty shrimp are stir-fried in a sweet and spicy chili sauce, topped with mozzarella cheese and french fries. The look of it is amazing, isn't it?

The shrimp were plump and the portion was generous. The chili sauce is seriously incredible. It's spicy but also a little tangy, and with the mozzarella on top, you could just scoop up the sauce and eat it alone, so delicious..

It's great eaten with the fries too, and the fries come with a garlic-mayo-flavored sauce, so I honestly kept inhaling them. This is the ultimate drinking snack...
Sous-vide pork jowl with chive salad: a signature dish with a shocking portion

Next up is the sous-vide pork jowl with chive salad, one of Bacha Suji Branch's signature dishes! The portion was honestly huge. Bars like this usually give you small portions, right? But it came out really generous, and I was surprised by the amount, but it was also seriously delicious!!

Add a little dab of wasabi if you like, and it's a fantastic drinking snack. Highly, highly recommend! The pork jowl keeps its signature crunchy-chewy texture, and paired with the sweet-and-sour seasoned chives, it really keeps the drinks going. Definitely deserves to be called a signature dish.
Brisket jjapaghetti: a hearty snack that even comes with kimchi

My friend suddenly said she wanted jjapaghetti and ordered the brisket jjapaghetti, and it came out properly cooked. They even give you kimchi, which is really the right touch, right? haha The brisket was piled on generously too, so I was very satisfied!!

It's cooked with a little sauce left, so the noodles don't get soggy and come out moist and stir-fried, and when you pop the egg yolk and mix it in, the richness is amazing.

You know brisket and jjapaghetti is the best combo, right? T_T It works as a drinking snack too lol With the brisket on top it's filling as well, so good!
Is Bacha Suji Branch worth going back to?
If you want a bar with a great atmosphere near Suji-gu Office Station, I highly recommend Bacha Suji Branch!!! I loved the atmosphere, the food, and the variety of highballs and cocktails, so next time I want to come back with friends!
