What was my hippie perm like in Cheongna?

I was deciding between a layered perm and a hippie perm, and chose a hippie perm at Goeum Hair Salon Cheongna Branch because I wanted a change with more defined curls. It was done as a regular perm.

When I told the salon director the style I wanted, they carefully checked the condition of my hair first.

After checking my hair condition, they worked carefully to help the curls come out well. I liked the finished look because the curves of the curls felt defined and bouncy.

Do they explain how to care for it at home?

After the service, they also explained in detail how to care for my hair at home. It was helpful that they went through how to apply curl cream when drying my hair and how to dry it after shampooing so the curls could last longer.

What are the cut, perm, and length surcharge prices?

The prices listed in the original post are below. It does not separately state the price of my hippie perm or my final payment.

• Cut: ₩20,000–₩30,000
• Perm: ₩100,000–₩170,000
• Length surcharge: up to ₩20,000

When I paid, I did not feel the cost was unreasonable. However, the original post also says that charges such as hair dye costs may be added in addition to the length surcharge, so it is worth checking the extra items and amounts for each service separately.

At the time of my visit, there was also a notice that high-fuel-price relief funds could be used with credit and debit cards.

Where is the salon, and is parking available?

The salon is on the second floor of the north side of the Cheongna Exlu Tower shopping complex in Cheongna 1-dong. I drove there and parked in the Exlu Tower parking lot.

After parking, exit through the main entrance and go up the stairs on the right. If you use the elevator at the shopping complex entrance, get off on the second floor and turn left to see the salon.

They provided up to three hours of free parking. I felt the parking time allowance was generous.

Can I visit after work?

The hours listed in the original post are 10:00–22:00 on weekdays and 10:00–20:00 on weekends. It is closed on Tuesdays and the fourth Sunday. Since it stays open into the evening on weekdays, I thought a post-work visit could be possible.

The post states that reservations can be made through Naver Booking and Naver TalkTalk.

What is the atmosphere like, and what facilities are there for children?

When I entered the salon, it felt comfortable and warm. Even the long time spent getting a perm did not feel boring.

While looking around during the service, I noticed colorful car-shaped children's chairs. There was also a children's playroom. I did not use these facilities with a child myself, but I felt they could be worth considering when bringing a child for a haircut later.
