Why I went to Manokamana Songdo Branch for my soul food, Indian curry

Manokamana Songdo Branch (머노까머나 송도점) is a place to eat Indian curry near Songdo Central Park. It had been a while since I'd come out to Songdo, so I made it a little outing and went to eat my soul food, curry. When you're feeling stuffy, eating something delicious is the best cure!

The market is just one tearful market after another, hahahaha. Oh, whatever, haha. I'm the one who always buys in at the peak and stays stuck there, right? Hahaha. Back in the Covid days and now too, hahaha. Sigh~~~ It wasn't money I needed right now anyway, so, haha, let's just hold on tight, haha. Meanwhile they say Samjeon (Samsung Electronics) is eyeing 500,000 won and Nix (SK hynix) 400,000, haha. Could it really be true? Back in the Covid days they said 80,000-won Samsung, and it did become 80,000-won Samsung, haha!! On sad days, comfort yourself with soul food. So after a long time, I went to eat my soul food, curry.

Parking and atmosphere at Manokamana Songdo Branch

Manokamana Songdo Branch is at 107 Haedoji-ro, Building G, 1st floor, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. You can use the underground parking lot in the building, and parking is supported for 2 hours. The restaurant has such an elegant, authentic feel that I let out a "Kyaaa---!" the moment I walked in.

Menu, prices and the B course at Manokamana Songdo Branch

Looking at the menu at Manokamana Songdo Branch, I thought it was cheap for Songdo prices!!! We ordered the B course~

The B course looks good, right!? Even food is in an age of global unity, so when is the war going to end... In international city Songdo, people from all over the world are really living their lives hard, so is it right that news like the alleged plot to assassinate Israeli and Iranian delegations keeps popping up? Honestly.. that's how I feel!!

Salad and lassi: strawberry lassi vs mango lassi

The salad in the B course at Manokamana Songdo Branch had a sauce like chojang (sweet-and-sour chili sauce), which left an impression. For the lassi (yogurt drink) we ordered mango and strawberry, and personally my vote goes to strawberry.

Yogurt!! I like lassi~ I like you~ because you're so tasty~ I like you, I like you~

Tandoori chicken, butter chicken curry and garlic naan

On top of that, the B course at Manokamana Songdo Branch also comes with tandoori chicken, curry and naan!! I'm a butter chicken lover, so I chose butter chicken for the curry, and for the naan, Koreans love garlic, right~ so I picked garlic naan.

We Koreans love garlic, but these days all the talk is about semiconductors!! And this is international city Songdo, haha. Enjoying Indian curry in Songdo, Korea, isn't that such fun global stuff!? But then they say even global isn't a thing anymore these days!! It's space, they say, haha. They say America's private space company SpaceX is about to list on the Nasdaq, so will the day soon come when we live on Mars and eat Martian food, hahaha?

Is the butter chicken curry at Manokamana Songdo Branch spicy?

The butter chicken curry at Manokamana Songdo Branch had no spiciness at all and a strongly smooth feel. Piping hot!! Smooth butter chicken~ Manokamana's butter chicken is honestly delicious any time I eat it. (Just as kimchi stew tastes different at every restaurant, curry tastes different at every restaurant too~)

It has roux in it and you eat it with naan, so it's an Indian curry that works perfectly as a meal~ I always wonder, isn't the amount of curry soup really small!? and yet I've never once finished it all, haha.

They say nearly 2 million foreign tourists are visiting Busan this year!! In these times when things keep going more global, there's Manokamana Songdo Branch, where you can enjoy tasty Indian food in global city Incheon Songdo too!! Meanwhile I'm still one person who can't bring myself to drive an electric car.. They say electric cars have taken over foreign imports in Korea, and the Tesla Model Y is the No. 2 seller in the whole country!! Wow. But... the repair costs... I worry... Anyway, carrying all this TMI, I ate so well and happily again today~ :) haha

Draft beer and Indian curry in Songdo: why I'd go back

With 2 hours of free parking and a well-built set menu, Manokamana Songdo Branch was a great place to enjoy tasty Indian curry near home after a long time. Longtime neighbors (blog readers) already know, but ever since a single strand of Indian curry I ate on a trip, Indian curry has become one of my soul foods~ I'm so curious what your soul food is!!

Plus the weather's been so nice lately, right!? A glass of draft beer and a bite of Indian curry in peaceful Songdo!! I feel like I spent a really comforting day!!
