A Yeongjong Island day trip with our dog: why Masian 300?

This summer vacation we made a day trip to Yeongjong Island and stopped at Masian 300, a dog-friendly handmade burger place. It's close to home, and a long drive with the dog felt like too much, so we picked Yeongjong. I found Masian 300 while looking for places to visit. The burgers were really good, and it's a great stop for a Yeongjong date or a drive around the Eulwangni area.

Masian 300 opening hours and parking

Masian 300 is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 21:00, with last order at 20:30. It's closed every Wednesday, and parking is free.

A white building among the pine trees

Masian 300 is a burger restaurant set among pine trees, five minutes by car from Eulwangni. A burger place this stylish? It caught my eye the moment we arrived. The exterior stood out even on the drive in. The white building with ribbon decorations felt clean yet a little vintage.

You can enjoy burgers outdoors as well as inside. There are single seats (bar tables) outside, so it looks perfect for coming alone or stopping briefly during a drive.

Can you bring a dog inside Masian 300?

Pets are allowed indoors at Masian 300, but they must be in a carrier or stroller. A notice about bringing pets is posted at the entrance. Please follow pet etiquette so everyone can be comfortable.

The interior was clean and pleasant overall. White-toned décor and a spacious layout meant it didn't feel stuffy at all. There are bar tables by the window, so you can eat your burger looking at the view outside. The beach and pine trees spread out right in front, and the pine view was so impressive. It felt like a date with my husband after a long time (●'◡'●)

Outdoor seating and the air-conditioned annex

If you don't have a carrier or stroller, you can spend time with your pet at the outdoor seating. The inside was nice, but the outdoor area was also decorated really prettily.

This is a photo of the outdoor tables. It's an open space with plenty of tables. They're set far enough apart that you can spend time with your pet without bothering other guests.

There's even a hammock by the outdoor tables, haha. Masian 300 feels like a place to relax and take your time. It's decorated so nicely, isn't it? > <

The outdoor area also has an annex. It's a space where you can use things a bit more freely and comfortably with your pet. They say that if you're not comfortable around pets, you can use the indoor area. The good thing about the annex is that it has air conditioning, so it looked cool even in midsummer. You can walk your dog outside and then rest in the cool annex.

Masian 300 menu and what we ordered

The Masian 300 menu lists the ingredients in each burger, so it's easy to choose to your taste. You can add toppings like bacon, American cheese and avocado. Besides burgers, there are many sides such as fries and chicken.

How does the truffle mushroom burger taste?

The Masian 300 truffle mushroom burger (₩13,900) has a patty, cheese, button mushrooms and grilled onions, topped with truffle mayo sauce, so a gentle truffle aroma rises the more you eat. The bun was moist and soft, and the toppings had an easy bite, so it went down so smoothly. If you like mushroom burgers, I highly recommend this one.

Chicken quesadilla at Masian 300

The Masian 300 chicken quesadilla (₩14,900) has cheese, chopped onion, chopped tomato, chicken and lettuce in a thin tortilla. A quesadilla is a Mexican dish where the filling goes inside a crisply grilled tortilla that's folded in half. The flavors went well together and it was super tasty ><

The filling was generous, so it felt like a healthy meal, and it was more filling than I expected. One thing: the filling can spill out a bit in the middle, so open your mouth wide. It comes pouring out, haha ( ͡• ͜ʖ ͡• )

Are the ugly shrimp balls a must-order?

If you visit Masian 300, I recommend ordering the ugly shrimp balls (4 pieces, ₩6,900). They come freshly fried, crispy outside and moist inside, and they were really delicious from the first bite.

Inside the shrimp balls are minced shrimp and whole shrimp, so the bouncy texture comes through as you chew. I was torn between these and the fries at first, but I'm praising myself for choosing the ugly shrimp balls, lol (╹ڡ╹ ) They're a side kids would love, too. I'll order them again next time.

Oreo shake

My husband ordered the Masian 300 Oreo shake (₩7,000), and it tastes just like cookies and cream ice cream ♡ A sweet, smooth shake that's great as a cold drink.

Chalk doodle wall and photo spots

On one outdoor wall at Masian 300, there's a space where you can doodle freely with chalk. It would make happy memories not only for people visiting with dogs but also for families with kids. There's also a prettily decorated photo zone on one side, and you can feel the careful attention put into every corner of the place.

Is Masian 300 a good Yeongjong date or drive stop?

Masian 300 has delicious handmade burgers and a pretty space where you can take photos too, so if you're planning a Yeongjong date or drive, give it a visit. With its relaxed atmosphere that welcomes pets, it's a great place to make memories.
