Where is Salerno Songdo Onesta?

Salerno Songdo Onesta is on the 3rd floor of the Onesta building at 157 Songdo-gukjedae-ro, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. I visited this branch, located in the same building as a pediatric clinic I often go to in Songdo.

This building itself has quite a few restaurants that are good for eating with family, and this was one of the ones that worked well for visiting with a kid.

Bread to start and the basil cream cheese spread for Naver bookings

The pre-meal bread came out matching the number of people at the table. If you book through Naver and visit, they also run an event giving you a basil cream cheese spread — spread on the bread, it was way tastier than I expected.

It was so much better than plain bread that my hand kept reaching for more.

Kids' pizza-making class at Salerno: free in September

What I liked most is that this place isn't just for eating — you can also do a kids' pizza-making experience. During my September visit, the kids' pizza experience was running for free.

We went there to eat, but my kid got to make her own pizza, so it felt almost like a cooking class haha. Two birds, one stone.

Maybe because she made it herself, she ate way more pizza than usual, which was great. Once it's done, they take it straight to the wood-fired oven!

Just the pizza dough alone is ₩5,000, so having the experience be free felt like such a great deal. I'd have thought it was worth it even paying ₩5,000, so getting it for free was even better.

If you're looking for somewhere to eat out with your kid in Songdo, this experience alone makes it worth a visit.

What we ordered: prosciutto cream pasta, quattro formaggi, crab rose pasta

The menu had plenty of variety, and we ended up ordering prosciutto cream pasta, quattro formaggi pizza, and crab rose pasta.

The soup that came with the set course was tasty too.

The wood-fired pizza gets baked right after you order, so it came out nice and hot, which I liked.

The dough was nice and chewy, and it was great eaten together with the cheese. If you're looking for wood-fired pizza in Songdo, freshly baked-to-order ones like this really seem to score higher on satisfaction.

A whole blue crab in the crab rose pasta

The crab rose pasta was my personal favorite. I thought it was just a crab shell placed on top, but underneath the shell there was a whole crab.

The crab meat was soft and sweet, so it was fun picking it apart, and there was plenty of rose sauce, which paired well with the pasta. Personally, this one passed with flying colors haha.

Salerno's lunch course at dinner for ₩1,000 more

Another thing I liked about Salerno Songdo Onesta is that you can get the lunch course even at dinner. Adding just ₩1,000 gets you soup, a drink, and coffee too, which felt like really good value.

When you're eating with a kid you end up adding this and that, so a set-up like this feels pretty practical.

Seating, parking and the walk to the Hyundai outlet

The tables weren't too close together, so it was comfortable sitting and eating with my kid. Parking was easy too — you can use the building's underground parking lot, so there's no need to worry about that, and being connected to the outlet makes it easy to get to. It works well as a stop while shopping, or the reverse — eat here first, then go browse the outlet.

Is Salerno Songdo Onesta a good spot for family dining?

With a kid along, being able to do the pizza-making experience made it more fun than just eating, and since she made the pizza herself, she ate well too, so we were satisfied overall. If you're looking for a family restaurant in Songdo or somewhere to take the kids on a weekend outing, this seems like a solid choice. It's especially close to the outlet, so I'd recommend it to anyone looking for restaurants near the Songdo Hyundai outlet. It's easy to follow up a meal with shopping or browsing at the outlet, making it a good weekend family outing route.
