On the weekend, my husband, our two babies and I went to Songhyeona to buy snacks for the kids, and stopped by Salerno Songdo Onesta, located in Songdo Onesta. These days when we try to eat out with two babies, taste matters, but the kids need to be comfortable and (most importantly) I need to be comfortable too. Salerno managed to pull off this tricky combo, and we had such a satisfying meal.

Where is Salerno Songdo Onesta, and where do you park?
Salerno Songdo Onesta is located in the Songdo Onesta building. It's directly connected to Songhyeona and close to Triple Street too, so accessibility is top-tier ( 'ヮ') As for parking, if you mention it when paying at Onesta after your meal, you get 3 hours free parking, so we could eat without worrying about that at all.
Inside Salerno: seating that works with babies
Salerno's dining room was really spacious and pleasant overall. The tables were spaced soooo far apart that we could enjoy our meal comfortably even with the kids along, and there was group seating available for larger parties too.
It's great for a relaxed daytime meal with kids, and the atmosphere is clean and warm, so at night it'd be perfect for a blind date or date spot too.
The first thing that caught my eye when we walked in was the huge wood-fired oven. Pizzas were being made nonstop, so it was fun just watching them bake in the oven. Salerno also has a large private room, which would be great for family gatherings, birthday parties, or small first-birthday (doljanchi) celebrations.

Salerno's lunch course for 1,000 won more
A wide variety of dishes are available. Ordering is easy via tablet.
Salerno also offers a lunch course from 11am to 3pm (available on weekends too). For just ₩1,000 more than the menu price, you get soup, a drink, and coffee. We ordered lunch too, and with a spread like this, there's no reason not to add the ₩1,000... the prices listed for the dishes below already include the ₩1,000 lunch add-on :)

What we ordered at Salerno
- Rucola Pomodoro ₩20,000
- Salsiccia Burrata ₩26,000
- Chestnut Cream Gnocchi ₩22,000

The free Kids' Make-Your-Own Pizza experience
And there's the free baby pizza-making experience! It's a pizza-making activity where the kids get to make their own pizza ᐢ⸝⸝•⩊•⸝⸝ᐡ

For the Kids' Make-Your-Own Pizza, they set the kids up with dough and topping ingredients (they even provided a chef hat and baby-sized vinyl gloves), and once the child places whatever toppings they want on their own, staff bake the finished pizza right in the wood-fired oven.

Rather than just sitting and eating during a meal out with kids, getting to make a pizza yourself and have it baked right away seems like it'd be a fun time for children too *ᴗˬᴗ)⁾⁾⁾

Once the pizza is finished, a staff member takes it right away to bake it in the central wood-fired oven. A tiny, precious little pizza complete! Whether or not she realized it was the one she made, she ate it up so well. Both the pizza and the baby were so cute. ✺⋆* (⸝⸝⸝´▽`⸝⸝⸝)⋆*✺
Menu of the month: chestnut cream gnocchi, 22,000 won

One of Salerno's newly launched dishes was the Chestnut Cream Gnocchi. It's on discount from ₩24,000 to ₩22,000 from September 15 to 30 to celebrate the monthly menu launch. It's packed with big chunks of chestnut, so it's obviously a chestnut dish — even the gnocchi turned out to be chestnut-shaped when I looked closely (՞꜆ .ˬ.՞)꜆
The potato-based gnocchi had that characteristic chewy, soft texture, and combined with the nutty, smooth chestnut cream sauce, it was really delicious 𓂂ɞ̴̶̷ ₃ ɞ̴̶̷𓂂 I highly recommend the Chestnut Cream Gnocchi as a kids' menu item. It's not too strongly flavored, so our baby ate it happily too.
Salsiccia burrata straight from the wood-fired oven

The Salsiccia Burrata pizza has salsiccia sausage and burrata cheese piled on top of a pizza fresh out of the wood-fired oven, so the soft, nutty taste of the cheese and the savory, salty flavor of the salsiccia are a dream combo. Each table also had Bonollio Buono Novello olive oil set out.

I tried dipping the pizza lightly in the olive oil ( ˶'ᵕ'˶)ෆ It's delicious even plain, but with a dip in the nutty olive oil it goes full Italian mode. We were told to drizzle it instead, but... it was truly a combo you could eat piece after piece endlessly.
Rucola pomodoro pizza at Salerno

The Rucola Pomodoro was delicious too (⃔⁔•͈ ·̫ •͈⁔)⃕↝ The tangy tomato sauce paired with the arugula went great with pizza too, and it was a dish our baby ate really well.
High chairs, baby dishware and picture books for families
When eating out with two babies, I worry a lot about whether the kids will be uncomfortable or bother people around us. At 22 months and 8 months old... it's really not easy. But Salerno was so well prepared for guests visiting with babies❤️
They had high chairs, of course, plus dishware the babies could use and even picture books to look at during the meal👶🏻 When we visited, there were a lot of other families with babies too, so we naturally felt comfortable enjoying the meal with our baby. The staff were kind and attentive as well, and for a family visiting with two babies, every one of these small considerations meant a lot to us❤️
This weekend, we spent a full, delicious time at Salerno with our two babies, making our own pizza and enjoying freshly baked pizza, pasta, and gnocchi. In particular, watching our child put toppings on the dough to make her own pizza, and then watching it bake in the huge wood-fired oven, made this a slightly more special meal out than usual for us ◌°.(⁎⁰̴̷̷ ∘̬ ⁰̴̷̷⁎).°◌

If you want to enjoy delicious pizza and pasta comfortably with your baby while also giving them a special experience, I recommend Salerno Songdo Onesta❤️
