Today I dropped Yonggami (my little one) off at daycare and came to Tiny Dot (타이니닷) in Juan, Michuhol-gu, Incheon, to have some time to myself 🫶 I think this is about my fifth visit! I used to come with family and friends, but today was my first time coming all by myself ❤️
How many floors does Tiny Dot have, and what is each floor for?
Tiny Dot is a four-story building. The 1st floor has a coffee roasting factory, and they told me they roast every day. The bakery items are made fresh each morning, and whatever doesn't sell that day gets thrown away.
The 2nd floor is a nice space for chatting with friends, the 3rd floor is good for people who come alone or want to study, and the 4th floor is for group reservations! (Normally the 2nd and 3rd floors are the ones open.)
Tiny Dot parking and opening hours
- ✔️ There was room for about 3–4 cars outside the building
- ✔️ If there's no space, they said you can park in the alley too 👍
Hours are Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.! Only the opening time differs, so it's easy to remember ✨️
The roasting machine, siphon coffee, and what "Tiny Dot" means
When I walked in, I could see the roasting machine inside, and they also sell siphon coffee, so I took some photos 👍 It was a rainy day, so the smell of coffee was even stronger!
I was curious what the café's name means. "Tiny dot" means a very small point, and the name carries the owner's resolution to keep working hard while never forgetting where it all started 👍💛
Can you buy beans, cold brew and drip bags at Tiny Dot?
Tiny Dot also sells cold brew concentrate and drip bags! I was curious how the owner's own roasted coffee tastes as a concentrate and in drip bags 👍 They sell beans separately too 🩷
Here are the drip bags I was eyeing! There were decaf drip bags too ❤️ They're ₩2,000 for 1 or ₩5,000 for 3, so ⭐️they'd make a nice gift⭐️
I saw bakery items, and the matcha latte made with a hand-turned millstone caught my eye 😊 I wanted to film the millstone moving for you, but it wasn't running yet, so photos only!
Tiny Dot menu and option surcharges
Tiny Dot has so many kinds of drinks that choosing was hard 🥲 Picking a bean, decaf, an extra shot or swapping to oat milk each costs ₩500 extra! I also wanted to try Tiny Dot's own drinks like Orange Dot, green tangerine tea (cheonggyul-cha), Sesame Dot and Perilla Dot 🥰
What I ordered alone: vanilla latte, Basque cheesecake and iced americano
After much debate I ordered a vanilla latte and a Basque cheesecake, and since the coffee was so good I got one more iced americano 😅 The Basque cheesecake was great too, so I'll order it again next time I come with friends 👏👏👏
What about the elevator and restrooms?
You can go up by elevator or stairs, whichever you prefer! Inside the elevator there's a little shelf for your tray, which I loved 😊 There's also a spot for trays in front of the elevator 👍
These are photos of the 2nd floor, and there are restrooms on every floor! Best of all, they were clean 💕 Just note that the 2nd and 4th floors have the women's restroom and the 3rd floor has the men's!
3rd floor if you're alone, 4th floor for group reservations
I picked a seat on the 3rd floor because the music and the mood were good 💓 The lush green plants keep the café from feeling bare!
The 4th floor is for groups and reservations. I asked the owner if I could take photos and I'm sharing them for anyone who's curious! The whiteboard and the sofa next to the seats show the owner's good sense ✨️
When you're done, just leave your tray on the 1st floor! 🫶 The drinks were good, but above all the owner was so kind that I knew I'd be back!
Takeout discount
If you get takeout at Tiny Dot, every drink is ₩1,000 off, so keep that in mind!
How was my solo trip to Tiny Dot?
I haven't been feeling great lately, but Tiny Dot gave me a healing break! I got plenty of caffeine too, so I think I can power through parenting when Yonggami comes home from daycare this afternoon 🥰 100% I'll come back, and I recommend Tiny Dot...☕️❤️
