Group dinner for 5 at a Bupyeong Korean BBQ: Dongducheon Samgyeopsal
In short
Dongducheon Sotttukkeong Samgyeopsal Bupyeong Branch is a skillet-lid fresh pork belly restaurant in the food alley outside Exit 7 of Bupyeong Station in Bupyeong, Incheon. Five of us visited late in the evening, and the staff grilled the whole slab of pork at the table and brought the complimentary blue crab doenjang stew plus two pots of steamed egg custard to match the party size. The meal ended with half fried rice and half truffle jjapagetti, and with servings from 12,000 won, Dongducheon Sotttukkeong Samgyeopsal was good value for a group dinner.

Today I'm introducing Dongducheon Sotttukkeong Samgyeopsal Bupyeong Branch for anyone near Bupyeong Station looking for a tasty, budget-friendly pork belly spot.

Dongducheon Sotttukkeong Samgyeopsal Bupyeong Branch: hours and parking
- Daily 11:30–23:00 / last order 22:30
- No parking / nearby public parking lot recommended

It's located in the buzzing food alley near Bupyeong Station Exit 7, so close to the station that it's super easy to make it your first, second, or third stop of the night. If you're driving, parking is tough given the nature of the Bupyeong food alley, so I'd recommend parking at a nearby public lot or garage and walking over.

Still packed with groups late at night
Even though it was late, the inside of the restaurant was buzzing with customers! There were so many people at first that I could only take photos later on. There seemed to be a lot of families dining out as well as company dinners and group visits — I guess that's what happens when a place gets a reputation as a Bupyeong Station must-eat spot.

The vibe is cozy with round tables, perfect for gathering in small groups over pork belly and a glass of soju. The chairs have storage underneath, which was really handy for stashing coats, bags, and other belongings that easily soak up the smell of grilled meat. On top of that, there are group tables that seat six or more!

Menu and prices at Dongducheon Sotttukkeong Samgyeopsal
You order via tablet, and the signature dish here is, without question, the skillet-lid grilled pork belly platter.
- Whole pork belly/neck 600g — ₩35,900
- Pork jowl 450g — ₩39,900
- Fresh pork belly/neck 200g — ₩12,000
- Review event — complimentary grilled mushrooms
- Included with meal — crab miso stew / stone pot egg stew

The pork starts at just ₩12,000 per serving, plus miso stew and egg stew come standard — Dongducheon Sotttukkeong Samgyeopsal delivers on both taste and value, so it's no surprise it's popular. And since staff grill the meat for you after you order, it doesn't get more convenient than that.

Staff grill the whole slab of pork for you
Can you see the quality of the meat that came out after ordering? The color of the whole slab already looked like it couldn't possibly taste bad, and the casually scattered salt made it look delicious even before it hit the grill.

They put the thick slab of meat on whole and grill it until the surface turns crispy, then a staff member comes over and cuts it into bite-sized pieces for you. Since they handle all the grilling, you don't have to worry about the meat at all — it was really easy to just eat, drink, and enjoy the night.

They say they only select premium grade-1 pork and personally low-temperature age it themselves. Juicy inside, crispy on the outside — one bite gives you that perfect combo of tenderness and juiciness, a real winner. On top of that, there's well-fermented kimchi and myeoljeot (salted anchovy sauce) to go with it!
Two pots of egg custard for a party of five, plus the side dishes
The generous egg stew that comes standard is fluffy and salty in the best way — a must for anyone who loves egg stew. Since there were five of us, it was even better that they thoughtfully gave us two servings.🤗

The miso stew that pairs so well with pork belly had crab in it, giving it a distinctive savory depth. It was also loaded with tofu, vegetables, and other ingredients — for a set menu in the ₩30,000s, this kind of spread really is great value.
Cheers
And of course, pork belly needs somaek (soju-beer mix) to go with it! There were five of us, and the value and portions really lived up to Bupyeong Station's reputation for good food — we ate our absolute fill.

Because it's cooked on a skillet lid, the fat drains off well, and you all know the kimchi and myeoljeot combo, right? The meat was so good that it tasted great with every sauce and side we tried.

Ending with half fried rice, half truffle jjapagetti
To finish, ordering half fried rice and half truffle jjapagetti (black bean noodles) per person is a must!🤤 With the carbs rounding things out perfectly at the end, the carb-protein-fat ratio was on point! If you're looking for a great pork belly spot in Bupyeong, I recommend Dongducheon Sotttukkeong Samgyeopsal for both taste and value!
