Not long ago my husband and I went for a drive out toward Maesian Beach on Yeongjong Island to change our mood. We enjoyed the wide-open sea view and the drive, and then spotted a pretty café with a look so distinctive it caught my eye instantly — it's called Pink Wall.

If you love the color pink, this lovely space is basically eye candy — and with its spacious interior and easy parking, it's known as one of the must-visit cafés on Yeongjong Island.

This place is also perfect for a family outing over Chuseok, so let me give you a candid, detailed review.

Inside Pink Wall Cafe, the tables are set well apart and baby chairs are available, making it easy for a large family to sit together. I gasped in admiration the moment I walked in.

The interior was much more spacious than it looked from outside, with generous spacing between tables. The seating layout is set up so that even a big group or extended family can chat comfortably without feeling cramped.

They have baby chairs ready for families with kids, and the restroom is inside and kept clean, which made everything really convenient. It's a space where families visiting with children or parents can spend time much more comfortably. And wherever you look, the interior is filled with pink.

A gorgeous pink chandelier hangs from the ceiling and grabs your attention, while sunlight pouring in through the picture windows blends beautifully with the wood-and-pink tones.

From the pink cat doll sitting by the window to every little prop, the whole space is filled with pink — anyone obsessed with pink simply can't pass this place by.

No matter which corner of the café you use as a backdrop, it's a great spot for a pink-toned photo.

The outdoor terrace at Pink Wall Cafe runs alongside a river, with a garden planted in colorful fall flowers, making it especially good for dog-friendly visits. The real charm of Pink Wall is its beautiful outdoor space. A cool, calm river flows right next to the terrace, so it's perfect for unwinding while taking in open natural scenery.

The outdoor garden in particular was planted with all kinds of colorful flowers here and there.

Paired with the crisp, clear fall weather, it just made me feel good even to look at it.

The outdoor seats, with their vivid flowers and river view, make this a spot I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a dog-friendly café on Yeongjong Island to visit with their beloved pup.

Black sesame einspänner 8,500 won and iced Americano 6,500 won

That day at Pink Wall Cafe we ordered an iced Americano (₩6,500) and a black sesame einspänner (₩8,500). Since we'd already eaten a full meal, we just ordered two light drinks.

Iced Americano (₩6,500): a clean, refreshing bean flavor that cools and clears the palate — solid basics done right.

Black sesame einspänner (₩8,500): a nutty, rich black sesame cream sits softly on top, and the balance of nuttiness and sweetness was really good.

Looking over at the counter, there was a good variety of bakery desserts, including bagels.

True to its reputation as a well-known Yeongjong Island bakery café, the display was full of mouthwatering breads. Since we'd already eaten, it was a shame we didn't get to try the bagels — next time I'll make sure to come hungry and try a bagel piled high with cream cheese.
