Yeongjong drive café with Lemonicano and Pink Wall Ade: Pink Wall Cafe

Today I'm introducing a bakery café in Yeongjong, Pink Wall Cafe.

Yeongjong is somewhere I go every once in a while because you can see the sea, enjoy a drive, and stop by a pretty café all in one trip. This time I visited Pink Wall Cafe, whose name itself already sounded super cute. From the moment I arrived, the pink-pink atmosphere caught my eye and it was so pretty. Lately I've been having fun hunting for pretty cafés, and true to its name, pink is the point of this space, so I was excited even before going in.

Inside Pink Wall Cafe: a garden-like pink space

The inside of Pink Wall Cafe isn't simply decorated in pink — it's styled like a little garden. Once I stepped inside, the atmosphere was way better than I expected. Plants are placed all around, and the green touches went surprisingly well with the pink space. Having the lovely pink mood together with the fresh feeling of plants made the space itself really unique. There were so many good photo spots that I started snapping pictures everywhere as soon as I walked in.

True to a Yeongjong bakery café, there were tons of bagels and all kinds of cakes too. I love bread, but I'd already eaten seafood kalguksu (noodle soup) earlier, so I skipped the bread this time, haha.

If you like pink-pink spaces, you'll especially love this place. Instead of feeling overly decorated, the pink color and plants were balanced in a way that made it comfortable to stay longer than expected.

Best of all, walking inside felt like entering a garden. Even though it's a café, there was no stuffy feeling at all thanks to the green plants everywhere — it felt more like resting in nature.

So rather than just drinking and leaving quickly, it made me want to sit and spend some leisurely time. I also thought this would be a great café for anyone specifically looking for a Yeongjong bakery café. Coming for a drive around Yeongjong, having a tasty drink, and resting in a pretty space — it was just right for that.

What does the Pink Wall Ade taste like? Peach meets mango

Pink Wall Cafe's signature Pink Wall Ade is made with peach and mango. My drink arrived — isn't the visual so pretty?! Since I came to Pink Wall Cafe, I had to try the Pink Wall Ade, whose name fits so well. Being an ade with peach and mango, it had a clear tangy-sweet fruit flavor.

The sweet, fragrant taste of peach combined with the soft sweetness of mango made it a drink that put me in a better mood the more I drank. The carbonation especially made it feel much more refreshing and cooling. It matched the pink-pink café atmosphere so well that it was also pretty for photos. Having a pretty drink in a pretty space made taking pictures extra fun. With its pretty color and cute name, I think it's a menu worth ordering at least once if you visit Pink Wall Cafe.

Above all, the Lemonicano and Pink Wall Ade have such different vibes that I think it's great to order both and split them. One side is a tangy lemon-and-coffee combo, the other is a sweet, refreshing peach-mango ade, so there's fun in picking based on your mood.

And then, the Lemonicano! I was so curious about this one from the name alone — it's literally lemon combined with an iced Americano. At first I wasn't sure if coffee and lemon would really go together, but it was surprisingly good. The bitter, clean taste of iced Americano plus the tangy scent of lemon made it feel distinctly different from a regular Americano.

Drinking it cold, the lemon's tanginess hit first, followed by the coffee's subtle bitterness — a pretty appealing combo. I think it would suit people who love coffee but prefer something tangy and refreshing over something heavy or strong. Personally I enjoy unique menus like this, so I had fun with it, and I thought it also matched well with a Yeongjong drive. On a nice day, driving around Yeongjong and stopping for a cool Lemonicano sounds like a great mood-lifter.

What I realized after this visit to Pink Wall Cafe is that Yeongjong is really a great place for driving around and hunting for cafés. Driving out to Yeongjong for some fresh air, then stopping at a pretty café for a drink and a rest, turned out to be a better course than I expected. Pink Wall Cafe especially had a different vibe from a typical café, making it a great stop to rest during a drive.

The pink look from the outside is pretty, but stepping inside reveals a garden-like space full of plants, which was fun to explore, and there were plenty of spots for photos, so it was easy to spend time there. It's a nice place to sip coffee and chat leisurely, or to leave with some pretty photos. It's especially good to visit alongside a drive around Yeongjong on a nice day.

Drive while watching the sea → find a pretty café and have a drink → take some photos → take a short break! A course like this makes the day feel so much more relaxed and full.
